IIT Dhanbad Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

• No. of  Scholarships : 25% of students enrolled in each Course.
• Amount : Rs. 800/- per month and full free ship ( Exemption from tuition fees)

Eligibility : G.P.A. of 6.00 in each of previous 2 semesters. For first year students 60% marks in qualifying exam.

Eligibility : Upto 10th best students of 4th year B.Tech (ME), annual income should not exceed Rs. 2,40,000/- per annum.

Eligibility : Upto 10th best students of final year B.Tech/M.Sc.Tech and MBA, GPA in any previous semesters should not be less than 7.00 (out of 10.00). Active participation and achievement in activities of ISS Games, Sports, Athletics, Yoga, NSS, NCC, Cultural events etc. would be given due consideration.

Eligibility : Only B. Tech students of any discipline with their parents’ annual income up to Rs.7,00,000/- per annum are eligible. Merit Criteria for 1st yr. student will be IIT-JEE Ranking. Merit Criteria for 2nd and 3rd year will be minimum OGPA 6.0 in the previous academic session

No. of  Scholarships : 4 (one each in 1st to 4th yr B.Tech courses) & 1 in MBA

Amount: Engineering – Rs. 65,000/- per student per annum. Management – Rs. 1,25,000/- per student per annum.

Amount: USD ($) 625.00 (Equivalent Rupees) per award and the total amount is to be given to the scholarship holders during the start of the final year session (the seventh semester).

Eligibility: These scholarships are to be awarded to 8 students during the final year of Bachelor’s Degree Program; two scholarships each in the fields of study of Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Applied Geology and Applied Geophysics. The Scholarships are to be awarded to the two top students in each geoscience branch based on the highest overall cumulative grade point average during the first three years of study. These scholarships are awarded irrespective of any scholarship received by these top eight students (from four branches) from any other sources.

IITISM, Dhanbad offers various scholarships for the students. The scholarships of IITISM, Dhanbad which are granted to the students are merit cum means scholarships. To avail the IITISM, Dhanbad scholarships, candidates are required to fill the application form. The merit criteria for awarding the MCM Scholarship to the B.Tech Integrated M.Tech, Dual Degree M.Sc.Tech,  students will be based on the OGPA 6.0 minimum obtained by the students up to the semester proceeding the semester in which the scholarship will be awarded.
