About Srinath University
Established in 2021, Srinath University is a Jharkhand-based private university and a subsidiary of the Sandhya Shambhu Educational Trust. The university was established by the Srinath Group under the leadership of Mr. Sukhdeo Mahato. The university emphasises its strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and social outreach.
Srinath University Jamshedpur is duly recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section. 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 as a self-financing private university. The university is also approved by the Government of Jharkhand and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Srinath University courses are available across a diverse range of disciplines and at undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral levels under its 10 schools. Moreover, the Srinath University curriculum is designed as per the NEP 2020 guidelines to increase the gross enrollment ratio in higher education.
The Srinath University Jamshedpur campus is situated amidst one of the largest industrial hubs of India and adjacent to Tata Steel, stretching over nearly 60 acres of land. Srinath University has several Srinath University scholarship schemes to nurture and support young minds. - Scholarship for the sudden demise of earning member of a student’s family
In cases of students facing financial hardship due to the sudden and untimely demise of the sole earning member of their family, the university provides a 100% tuition fee waiver for the current semester. In addition, a scholarship of up to 75% may be offered in the subsequent semesters on a case-to-case basis, depending on means, need, and the student's overall performance.
