The KEAM 2025 Phase 3 counselling for Engineering has commenced, with fresh option registration open until August 7, 2025. The provisional allotment list will be released on August 8, followed by the final allotment on August 9. A registration fee of ₹2,000 (₹500 for eligible categories) is applicable.
The deadline for KEAM 2025 option registration has been extended to July 18, 2025. Candidates included in the engineering rank list must finalize and submit their preferred choices by this date to be eligible for the seat allotment process
KEAM 2025 option registration will close on July 16. Candidates in the engineering rank list must submit their choices to be considered for Phase 1 allotment on July 17. The final allotment will be announced on July 18.
CEE Kerala has released the KEAM 2025 rank list for engineering and pharmacy at cee.kerala.gov.in.
Candidates for admission to the B.Tech. Engineering degree course shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. However candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or Examinations recognized as equivalent there to , with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry together are eligible for admission under management quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered). Candidates, belonging to Socially and Educationally Back-ward classes (SEBC) with a total family annual income not exceeding the limit notified by the Government of Kerala from time to time, need only 45% marks in Mathematics and 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics put together. However, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) / Persons with Disabilities (PD) category candidates who have obtained 40% marks in Mathematics separately and with 55% aggregate marks in optional sub-jects are also eligible for admission. Candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe need only a pass in the qualifying examination. The amendments in qualifications for admission as notified by the Government of Kerala/ Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala from time to time will also be applicable for the admission to B.Tech Degree Course.
Candidates have to qualify the State Level Entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations or State level/National level Entrance Examination approved by the Government of Kerala as equivalent. They shall also satisfy the conditions regarding age and physical fitness as prescribed by the University of Calicut.
B.E/B.Tech with 60% marks RESERVATION FOR MERIT SEATS The percentage break—up of seats as per mandatory reservation is as follows:
(A) State Merit (SM) 64%
(B) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes(SEBC) 26%
(C) Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes 10%
Any Degree with minimum 50% marks(45% for OBC,40% for SC/ST).
