J.T.Mahajan College of Engineering, Jalgaon offers admission to B.Tech and M.Tech courses. All the courses offered at J.T. Mahajan College are  Accreditated by NAAC, New Delhi. The college offers admission in four different specialisations including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Besides this, students may also enrol for the M.Tech program available at the college. Admission to the college will depend upon merit prepared on the basis of scores in the qualifying degree. J.T.Mahajan College of Engineering B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates applying for the program must have satisfied each of the conditions mentioned below. 

  • He/ She should be an Indian National.
  • The candidate must have cleared HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biotechnology or Biology or Chemistry or Technical or Vocational subjects. He/ She must have obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together. Candidates belonging to any of the Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only must have obtained 45% aggregate. Or
  • The candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 50% marks Candidates belonging to any of the Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only must have obtained 45% aggregate Or
  • The candidates must have cleared B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks. Candidates belonging to any of the Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only must have obtained 45% aggregate 
  • Besides this, the applicants must have a valid scorecard of the MHT-CET entrance exam conducted by the Competent Authority.

J.T.Mahajan College of Engineering Application Process 2020

Candidates who are going to apply for any of the available programs at the college may collect the application form from the admission department of the college. All the fields mentioned in the application form are mandatory so the candidates should be careful while filling the application form. When the application is completely filled, they may submit the application form. It must be noted that no entries will be considered after the last date.

  • MHTCET / JEE Main Paper 1 Mark sheet issued by Entrance Exam Authority
  • Admit Letter issued by DTE, Mumbai
  • SSC Mark sheet issued by Secondary and Higher Secondary Board
  • HSC Mark sheet issued by Secondary and Higher Secondary Board/Diploma Mark sheet in term of Direct Second Year
  • Domicile certificate of the father/ mother where and as applicable
  • Certificate of Indian Nationality
  • Migration Certificate in case of OMS candidates
  • Affidavit regarding GAP (if any) on stamp paper of Rs.50/- in front of Executive Magistrate
  • Caste Certificate except General category candidate issued by Executive Magistrate
  • Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate issued by School/College
  • Passing Certificate of HSC issued by Technical Examination Board
  • Certificate of Date of Birth, if it is not mentioned in the school or institute Leaving certificate
  • Caste Validity Certificate except General category candidate issued by Director / Deputy Director, Tribe Scrutiny Committee of the respective region
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate valid up to 31 March (for OBC, VJ/DT - NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC) issued by Sub Divisional Officer, Deputy Collector / Collector of District
  • The requisite certificate from the competent Authorities in the case of candidates claiming to be the children of Armed forces personnel transferred to Maharashtra state together with transfer order of father
  • Transfer order in the case of children of Central government
  • Certificate in the case of candidate claiming to be son/ daughter of freedom fighter, or his wife or child or adopted child or stepchild, or grandchild (child of predeceased son of freedom fighter)
  • Prescribed certificate of being physically handicapped if any
  • Prescribed certificate of participation in Inter-institutional sports, Games, debates, elocution, Drama competitions
  • Medical certificate of Physical fitness

J.T.Mahajan College of Engineering Selection Process 2020

Candidates who have applied for the program will be sorted out on the basis of academic percentage. The college will prepare a merit list which will be prepared on the basis of scores in the qualifying degree. Selected candidates will be called for documents verification round. Once all the rounds are successfully cleared, they may process to submit the annual fee
