KITP is equipped with all kinds of modern technologies to provide its students a better learning experience. The computer lab is well equipped with a number of latest hardware and software. At present, the labs have eight rooms, and all are centrally air-conditioned with the accommodation capacity of 300 students. There are 400 system, with core 2 duo/dual core/ p 4 configuration, LCD projectors, 50 printers, HP Scanner, working digital camera, and router connected to the network through 8 servers in total. The campus network is connected to 600 nodes in the academic building covering areas like a computer center, all laboratories, administrative offices, faculty rooms, library, reception, and the hostel. 24*7 Internet connectivity is available in the hostel and computer center. The internet connection is of I MBPS from TATA INDICOM and MBPS from AIRTEL. The library at the Institute is well-stocked and houses around 25000 volumes of books where all the books are bar-coded. It subscribes to about 100 national and international journals in print form, 95 journals in electronic through internet, 17 magazines and several newspapers. A significant collection of CDs& DVDs is also available for users. Also, the library is a member of DELNET, i.e., developing library network. Then there are separate boys & girls hostels with full security and other facilities like mess, purified water cooler, 24-hour power supply, etc.
