The institute has got sufficient facilities at present but under its expansion plan new facilities are being added with the assistance of World Bank under the Technical Education Project.

Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, the buildings are creatively made.Arena for sports was available.Libraries are available.WI services are available.Yeah , this institute infrastructure wise is good

Hostel: Hostel facility is good. Quality of food served by mess is average but we used to get varieties each day. Overall cleanliness and hygiene is maintained here

Good accommodation with great culture

Hostel: There's a daily cleaning time at the hostel from 11am to 2pm, but the owners are cool with exceptions if you ask nicely. It's a good time to be out and about with friends anyway. Hostel life has been a real turning point for me.

Infrastructure: when i was searching colleges i saw many colleges but the colleges i saw have low and bad infrastructure , but when i enter kashmir polytechnical college i was happy to see good infrastructure and class rooms was clean .

For admissions in courses offered by Kashmir Government Polytechnic College Srinagar you need to register at the website of Board of Technical Education, Jammu and Kashmir. Registration for 2023-24 is closed now, so you cannot take admission in Diploma in Civil Engineering this year. You can definitely apply for admission next year. 

Admission in diploma courses at Kashmir Government Polytechnic College Srinagar is done on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in Class 10. There is no entrance exam for diploma courses admission. Kashmir Government Polytechnic College Srinagar offers Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering etc. courses.

The registration for admission in Diploma in Civil Engineering course at Kashmir Government Polytechnic College for the academic year 2023-24 is closed now. You can apply for admission next year. The merit list of candidates selected for engineering diploma courses at Kashmir Government Polytechnic College is already released by the Board of Technical Education, Jammu and Kashmir. 

The institute offers nine diploma programmes. A few of them are Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Information Technology etc. The duration of engineering diploma programmes is three years. The total fees for the diploma courses is Rs 5790.

Yes, you can join Kashmir Government Polytechnic College if you have qualified class 10. As per the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities, every candidate who has completed their class 10 from a recognized board of education is eligible to appear for any of the courses offered by the college. Currently, the KGPC offers 9 specializations in diploma.
