Overall: overall it's decent place to spend your college years. Environment of the college is good. Students are willing to get addmission in this college. Infrastructure and facilities are too good.
Infrastructure: college facilities are good. Classrooms and labs are well designed. There is Library and wifi connection for students better performance. Library is nice study spot
Faculty: teacher are cooperative and they they provide quality of education. They provide knowledge not only in studies but advises for better growth in life .
Hostel: The rooms of the hostel are decent, nothing fancy but finctional. Food taste good. There are night study session for better performance. College environment is too good.
Overall: I joined KC College since it was the only college in Mumbai that allowed an arts/commerce student to major in statistics. The combination I chose was Economics and statistics. The statistics department is not good but thankfully they switched us to the data science department in the third year. The economics department of KC is very active and organized many events, fests and competitions for the students. I learned more from taking part in these activities than in the classroom. KC's management is another thing that most students here complain about. In the end the activities and lenient attendance are KC college's strong points.
Placement: The placements in KC are really good for some courses such as B4, BAF and BMS. Other courses usually struggle to get placed and are not preferred by the companies that come to the college. Most of the companies that come for placements are from the financial sector.
Infrastructure: Since I joined KC the building has been under renovation. Our entire time in college was during these renovations which made it hard to find classrooms. The good news is that the renovations are almost over and the new classrooms have good infrastructure. The rooms are now fitted with ACs and corridors have new lockers in place.
Faculty: There are many faculty members who are friendly and many who can be a bit problematic. I have witnessed a few faculty members being frustrated and removing this frustration on students. I have also been close to some faculty members who have bought me gifts and been in touch personally. In general there is a broad range of faculty members with different personalities, some can be harsh and some can be nice
Hostel: Students that are not from Mumbai have to find a hostel outside of KC since the college does not have this facility. Some of my friends that are outstation have found hostels about 15-20 minutes away from college.
