KITM Kurukshetra Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

(C) KITES-18: Special Scholarship Scheme For B.Tech. Students

• Kurukshetra Institute of Technology & Management, Kurukshetra is offering KITES- 18 (Kurukshetra Institute Technical Education Scholarship-18), a special scholarship scheme for B.Tech admission aspirants as part of its endeavor to provide quality education at affordable cost. Under this scheme, Institute is offering B. Tech admission in all disciplines with an annual fee of Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh only) including hostel charges. For day-scholars, fee shall be Rs. 60000/- Per annum. However, the students who are aspiring admission under KITES-18 will need to abide with the terms and conditions of the scheme.
• Terms & Conditions for KITES-18

• KITES-18 is offered only to B. Tech admission aspirants for the batch 2018-22.

• If any student is expelled from the hostel or he/she discontinues the hostel facility due to whatsoever reason, he/she has to pay fee as mentioned for day-scholars i.e. Rs. 60000/- per annum.

• In no case, students admitted under KITES-18, shall be eligible for any other monetary incentive from the Institute.

• Under KITES-18, a student shall pay Rs. 50000/- , if opted hostel facility else Rs. 30000/- as 1^st instalment of fee for confirmed admission.

• Charges other than regular fee such as reappear examination fee, fee for late submission of examination form; uniform fee, transportation charges shall be applicable as notified from time to time.

• Students admitted under KITES-18 can apply, if eligible, for any other scholarship scheme of State Govt./Central Govt. as per the rules prescribed for the scheme.

• Fee under KITES-2018, may be revised, if any component of fee is revised by the Kurukshetra University / Govt. of Haryana/AICTE New Delhi.

1. Scholarship Scheme for the Staff and Students of KITM

Concession of 25% in tuition fee shall be applicable for (a) children /relative in blood relation of members of staff who have at least 2 years’ service in the Institute and (b) for students whose brother/sister is studying in this Institute.

General Terms & Conditions for Scholarships ( A ) & ( B )

1. In order to encourage students who have passed any under-graduate course from KITM and desirous to take further admission in Post-graduate course will get 10% additional concession in tuition fee for scholarship schemes A & B. However, scholarship benefit can be maximum up to 60% of tuition fee.

2. Students can claim only one scholarship from all sources, whichever is higher.

3. Scholarship for the students of 2^ndYear Onwards (Common for all courses) except KITES-18

85% and above - 20% of Tuition Fee

Below 85% to 75% - 15% of Tuition Fee

Below 75% to 70% - 10% of Tuition Fee

4. Institute scholarship for 2^nd year onwards for all courses will depend upon the performance of students in the preceding semesters examination result. The awardee of the scholarship is required to obtain the percentage of marks, as mentioned above in point no. 3, in the university Examination. The continuation of the scholarship in the subsequent years will be de-linked from the payment of institute fees. The students will be required to pay the fees and other charges in full and the payment of scholarship amount will be made after the declaration of the results and the fulfilment of criteria of requisite percentage of marks and 70% attendance in all subjects. For continuation of scholarship, awardee should not indulge in any in-disciplinary activity and should have no reappear in university Examination. Non-fulfilment of Requisite conditions shall make a student ineligible for scholarship for rest of his / her course.

5. In addition, holder of 1^st.2^nd or 3^rd rank in university will be awarded cash prizes as incentive for their performance.
