The admissions at LLIM are based on the entrance test score. The candidates belonging to backward class of the State of Maharashtra state are eligible to claim seat under reserved category. The reservation policy for admission in the courses offered by LLIM is as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra.
GATE/SET/NET/JRF qualified candidates and holders of teachers’ fellowships of apex bodies like CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT are exempted from PET (Ph.D entrance test). The candidates with M. Phil. degree from a recognized University are also exempted from the PET exam. The course-wise details of the admission process are provided below:

For taking admission in MMS course at LLIM, Mumbai students have to appear for these (CMAT /NMAT/SNAP /CET/NMAT/ GMAT/ATMA) entrance exam. Schedule of some important dates is given below.

In order to be eligible for getting admission at LLIM, Mumbai the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university. Also, the candidates must have appeared for CMAT/XMAT/SNAP/CET/NMAT/GMAT/ATMA entrance exam.
For admission in MMS course, the Applicants have to register themselves for the entrance exams (CMAT /NMAT/SNAP/CET/NMAT / GMAT/ATMA) entrance exams or MMS CET (conducted by DTE Maharashtra) through respective official websites of corresponding entrance exam. Candidates who have registered for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 need not pay any registration fees for admission. However other candidates who have obtained a valid score in the academic year 2019-20 in CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA are exempted from MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 and are required to pay fees as given below only by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking etc. through Online mode. A fee once paid is non-refundable. (No other mode of payment shall be permitted).
The selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exams (CMAT /XMAT/SNAP /CET/NMAT/ GMAT/ATMA) or CET followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview. The Institute follows the directions laid down by the Government of Maharashtra & University of Mumbai for the intake of students. The intake is strictly on the basis of Merit received by the student in the Common Entrance Test (CET).
