Maharishi Markandeshwar University will conduct counseling procedures for students who have scored qualified marks in the examination and have been shortlisted on the merit list; they will be called out for the counseling session. Candidates seeking admission to BCA should have passed Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) examination with English as a compulsory subject from any recognised board of education. He/she should have scored at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and received passing marks in Mathematics as one of the subjects at the matriculation level. 10% weightage be given to each subject of Mathematics/ Statistics and Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications or equivalent. 20% weightage will be given to those students who have studied Mathematics/ Statistics and Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications/ Information System at the 10+2 level.
