Management Education & Research Institute Admission Latest Update

July 24, 2025

AIMA has released the schedule for the MAT 2025 September session. The exam will be conducted in two modes: Paper-Based Test (PBT) on September 21 and Computer-Based Test (CBT) on September 28. The registration deadline for the PBT is September 15, while for the CBT, it is September 22.

NLU Delhi has announced the revised schedule for AILET 2026. The registration process will commence on August 7, 2025, and will close on November 10, 2025. The entrance examination, conducted for admission to the BA LLB and LLM programs, is now scheduled to be held on December 14, 2025.

July 10, 2025

XAT 2026 registration has begun today, July 10, 2025. The last date to fill out the application form online is December 5, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be held on January 4, 2026. The exam pattern and syllabus remain unchanged from last year. Both new applicants and previously registered users can log in to complete the application process.

July 09, 2025

XAT 2026 registration starts on July 10, 2025, with the registration deadline set for December 5, 2025. Aspirants who apply on the first day will get special benefits to help them prepare for the exam.

BBA/ BA
  • Candidates must have passed the 12th examination or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject. 
  • *Aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class for the purpose of eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of best four subjects (unless otherwise specified) including English and compulsory subject(s), if any.

MERI Delhi Application Process 2023

Candidates can apply for admission at Management Education & Research Institute, Delhi by filling out the application form of the college. They can obtain the application form by any of the following methods.

  • To Admission Office, MERI as Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- in favour of ‘Management Education & Research Institute’ payable at New Delhi
  • By downloading the form from the website, and submitting it along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/-

Note: The prospectus & application fees will not be refunded under any circumstances. The name and the code of the programme chosen should be clearly written on the envelope enclosing the demand draft, and also the envelope containing the application form.

  • 50% in aggregate in 10+2 examination / senior school certificate examination of C.B.S.E as minimum marks for admission to B.Com(H) with a pass in five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent to that.
  1. Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian school/ college. OR Intermediate Examination of an Indian University / Board or an Examination recognized as equivalent to that (Pass in Five written subjects)
  2. Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Pass in Five written subjects).
  3. Examination of a foreign University / Board which is recognized as equivalent to 10+2 CBSE examination/or Indian university.

Mathematics or (Computer Science / Data Management Application / Computer Applications / Informatics Practice / Multimedia & Web Technology / Web Application as compulsory subject of non-vocational stream with 50 theory and 50 practical ratio). OR
  • Three year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

  • Any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR
  • Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India OR  the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

MERI Delhi MBA Selection Process 2023 

Candidates will be selected for MBA admissions at Management Education & Research Institute, Delhi on the basis of the overall percentile of the Common Admission Test (CAT) that will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management. If Seats remain vacant after counselling on the basis of the overall percentile of CAT, then the counselling shall be conducted on the basis of Score in CMAT (another National Level Test). In case the seat still remains vacant even after exhausting CAT and CMAT Merit, University will consider admissions in MBA Programme by conducting Common Entrance Test to be conducted by GGSIP University.

Management Education & Research Institute, located in Delhi is accepting applications for admission to the BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLB, PG DIPLOMA IN CYBER LAW and LLM programmes for the academic session 2023-24. By selecting the ‘Apply Online’ tab from the official website's home page, you can fill out the online admission form. After completing the form and pressing the submit button, you must contact the institute for the fee payment process. For admission without any entrance exam, that is, direct admission at MERI Delhi is done at the campus. You have to visit the admission office and make the fee payment through Cash/ DD in favour of MERI or through online transfer.
