Situated in the Madhya Pradesh state of India, Mandsaur University is a private institution. Commonly known as MU, the university is approved by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and UGC (University Grants Commission). The university has an international collaboration with UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).
With its rich history of over 25 years, Mandsaur University has included over 5,000 students to its alumni list. The university has a strong network of over 300 faculty members. MU has published more than 1,300 research papers and has conducted 10+ live industry consultancies. The excellent faculty of the university has published more than 15 books and filed over 10 patents. The university has over three of its own published research journals.
The beautiful and lush green campus of Mandsaur University is stretched over 90+ acres of land. The university has more than 100 laboratories and 9 lacs square ft. of constructed area. Its infrastructural facilities included a bank, a cafeteria, a central library, Wifi campus, laboratories, beautiful lush green gardens, hostel facilities for both males and females, a swimming pool, hostel mess, basketball court, 24/7 security, sports ground, stationery shop, volleyball ground, hospital and lecture theatre. The university has boys' hostels with 98 rooms and a capacity of 294 students. For girls, there are 68 rooms with 204 capacity.
The student life at Mandsaur University is very active. Campus placements are organised by the Training and Placement Department of the university ensuring the best results. MU has been involved in organising programmes like Women in Science by the Department of Pharmacy, Spardha-E-Abhivyakti - a centralised debate competition, National Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Patent Filing organised by the Department of CA and Electrical and Electronics, Rang Shilp – Wall Painting Competition organised by the Fashion Club, A Cycle Safari from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Maharaas - A Garba Night, Spic Macay Virasat Live Concert, Blood Donation Camps, Rang Barsey - Holi Fest, Mridang Fest, Panache, etc.
