Merit-Based Scholarships
The merit scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. It is awarded on the course fee and excludes other fees and exam fees. To avail of the benefit of a merit scholarship, a student has to clear his/ her exam without any carryover.

For girl students, there is 5 percent relaxation at each level for a merit scholarship at Mangalayatan University.

25 percent fee concession is granted to women candidates for admission at Mangalayatan University. This fee concession will go on throughout the exam.
25 percent of the course fee is awarded to the son/ daughter or grandson/ granddaughter of freedom fighters, son/ daughter of Armed Forces/ Para Military Forces/ Police force Personnel. This fee concession will be valid throughout the program.
20% course fee waiver is allowed to children from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, and Buddhist communities. (This fee concession continues throughout the course).
20% concession in course fee is allowed to differently abled children with 40% or higher impairment. This fee concession continues throughout the course.
40% course fee waiver is allowed to all Jain communities. (This fee concession continues throughout the course)
40 percent concession is allowed for self/ spouse/ daughter/ son of University employees. Extended blood relations of University employees, defined as brother/ sister of University employee, son/ daughter of brother/ sister of university employee are given 15 percent fee waiver. This fee concession will continue throughout the program.
