Manipal University admissions are provided either on the basis of an entrance exam or merit in the qualifying exam. The Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Science, Technology & Management, and Faculty of Humanities, Liberal Arts & Social Sciences are responsible for offering UG and PG courses at Manipal University. Some of the entrance exams accepted for Manipal University admission include NEET, NATA, JEE Main, GATE, etc. The university also conducts its own entrance exam: the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) for admission to courses like BTech, BPharm, ME, BSc, etc. Manipal University conducts Department Test (DT) for courses like MSc, BDes, BHM, etc., and MET + DT for courses like M.Sc Clinical Psychology, IPM, BBA Hons, etc.

The admissions at Manipal University has begun and the application process can be completed through online mode. Manipal University admission will be done on the basis of the scores obtained in MET or state/national level entrance examinations. Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for Manipal University admissions:

Step 1: Go to the official admissions page of Manipal University @manipal.edu/mu/admission.

Step 2: Navigate through the homepage and click on the “Apply Now” tab provided in the centre of the home page. 

Step 3: If you are a new user, register yourself by entering details like name, email address, mobile number, state, city, program level applying for, stream, program, etc. If you are an already registered candidate, enter your Email ID and password to log in.
