Manipal University Cutoff 2025

Manipal University 2025 Cutoff refers to the minimum rank or score required for admission to various programs. The cutoff is determined based on entrance exams like MET for engineering programs, NEET for medical programs, and other specific exams for different courses. Candidates need to meet the qualifying marks or ranks as a selection requirement. The Manipal University cut off might vary yearly depending on various factors.

NEET UG Cutoff for MBBS at KMC Manipal

For MBBS admissions at Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal, the expected NEET UG cutoff for 2025 is highly competitive. In 2024, the last-round closing rank for the MBBS course was 36053 for the General AI category students. The cutoff has shown variability over the years, with a closing rank of 24330 in 2023 and 45422 in 2022.

DASA UG Cutoff for B.Tech Programs

For B.Tech admissions, Manipal University accepts DASA UG scores. The cutoff ranks vary by course, with Aeronautical Engineering being one of the most competitive, having a closing cutoff of 377 in 20221.

Karnataka NEET UG Cutoff for MBBS

For students from Karnataka, the NEET UG cutoff for MBBS at KMC Mangalore (also affiliated with Manipal University) was 6463 in Round 2 of 2024 for the General AI quota.

Admission Criteria

MET: Required for B.Tech admissions. Candidates must secure a high rank in MET to be eligible.

NEET UG: Required for MBBS admissions. Candidates must secure a high rank in NEET UG to be eligible.

DASA UG: Required for international students seeking admission to B.Tech programs.

Factors Determining Manipal University Cutoff

There are various factors that determine the cutoff for Manipal University. These factors include:

Number of Applicants: A higher number of applicants leads to higher competition, which can affect the cutoffs.

Difficulty of the Entrance Exam: If the exam is considered difficult, qualifying marks may be lower. Conversely, easier exams tend to result in higher qualifying marks.

Number of Available Seats: Fewer available seats increase competition, driving up the qualifying marks.

Previous Year's Cutoff Trends: Colleges often consider the previous year's cutoff trends as a benchmark. Significant changes in applicant numbers or exam difficulty can alter this trend.

Reservation Policies: Different categories (e.g., General, SC, ST) result in varying cutoffs for each category.
