Overall: Manit bhopal has overall good placement as many giants recruiter like Google, Microsoft Atlassian and many more visit here every year. The average package of cse is over 20 lpa.
Infrastructure: Here infrastructure are above average. Many building are newly build with all good facilities available.Hostels are also good with tasty mess food but some hostels needs to be renovatedlike hostel no 2 for boys. Some building of architecture and planning needs to be renovated also.
Faculty: The faculties here are best of knowledge and have very chilled nature .They have experienced over about 20 years and one faculty teaches more than one subject. We have very famous faculty like Yadunath pathak sir, Jaytrilok chaudhari sir which are very professional teachers(professors).
Hostel: There are around 12 hostels in the manit and each year students gets it different hostels. Many hostels here are newly built except some like hostel 7 and hostel 2 which needs to be renovated. The mess food here is too good and there is mess community which is run by the own hostel students.Due to which the quality of food never gets fade.
Overall: In MANIT, you will enjoy best college life because the teachers are interested to teach and the students want to learn the new subjects and gain practical knowledge through labs. Apart from that you will get a chance to place in MNC like google, Microsoft.. Etc
Placement: It has a good average package and specifically if you are in CSE, ECE, EE then you will get so many attempts which finally pushes you to be placed anyhow. Everyone pushes each other during college placement time which increases the average package upto 18 LPA in CSE
Infrastructure: You will enjoy sports like volleyball, football, table tennis, cricket, badminton, basketball, kabaddi and other indoor games as well and they have dedicated courts for each of them. They also have rooms for different clubs as well.
Faculty: The young teachers are really good and very interactive. Specifically during the time of exams they supports you so well to clear the exams and score a decent CGPA.Some of the professors holds more than 20 patents.
Hostel: Food is not that much good and also poor supply of internet. Hostels are far from the classroom approximately 2 km which causes problem for some students. You can't use your use electrical appliances in hostel like coolers
Overall: The most lucrative thing about my college which made me choose this, is it's great campus life, good coding culture and amazing placements. The regular events, fests and sports activities make college life much interesting and enjoying. Here, more than 50 clubs are there in photography, music, technology, dance and social services where the students can enhance their overall personality development. In first year, students specially boys may face some ragging atmosphere: yet overall it is a great place to learn, grow and have life long memories.
Placement: MANIT has good track record of placements. It has very active placement cell called Training, Placement and Student Welfare Cell (TPSWC). It provides trainings for required market skills to students and also hold workshops and talkshows from industry experts. In 2023, over 30% students from my course (CSE) were able to get internships and around 85% were able to get campus placements. The highest package offered was of 82 LPA and the lowest being offered was of 8.5 LPA. The median and average packages of my course were of 19.6 and 26.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies were JP Morgan, Flipkart, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Deloitte, Google, Intel and Atlassian. The overall average package of B.tech courses were of 16 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise, NIT Bhopal stands a decent position among all NITs. The labs and classrooms here are well equipped with all modern facilities. The institute has a large library called central library where one can sit and study peacefully. At a time a maximum of 6 books can be issued from library for maximum of 90 days. There is a large sports complex here which provides various indoor and outdoor sports facilities along with a number of sports grounds and courts. Inside the campus, other amenities like canteens, cafeterias, a post office and a bank is also there. The institute has it's own dispensary which provides basic medical facilities to students.
Faculty: The college has very experienced and highly qualified faculties. They teach in very interactive way and provide support even outside the class hours. Some of them give a lot of assignments and projects which may make you frustrate; but overall these are doable. In each semester, three exams are taken: mini, mid and end sem. Exams here are on slightly tougher side, so you need to study sincerely to get a good score.
Hostel: Here, 12 hostels are there, each having it's own mess, common rooms like TV room, tennis room; and sports courts like vollyball court, badminton court etc. The hostel and mess charges are quite affordable. Qualitatively, the mess facilities are also good. 1st year boys get triple occupancy rooms but can get double occupancy rooms from next year with good CGPA. There are opportunities to make new friends; you may develop leadership qualities via committees. The con is sharing rooms with 2 or 3 students may be challenging; sometimes mess or toilets may be found crowded.
