For admission to the B.Sc Nursing and GNM courses at Mata Padmawati College Of Nursing, the entrance tests are conducted in months of July and August each year. For 2023 as well, the tests were conducted during the same timeline. The entrance exam for Mata Padmawati College Of Nursing admission is conducted by Himachal Pradesh University Shimla or Atal Medical and Research University Mandi. For the GNM course, the counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education Shimla. For the B.Sc Nursing 4-year course and the GNM course, the total seat intake is 40 seats. The B.Sc Nursing 2-year course has an intake of 20 seats.
