Overall: Packages range from INR 1 lakh to INR 5 lakh. Tech Mahindra and Infosys mainly come to hire the best students in college. Mainly, 30% of students who don't learn the concepts of BCA properly are not placed; other students are well settled. The top role will be in software development. Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the computer lab with high-speed data connectivity. Labs are groomed and contain 2019 Windows desktops. Classrooms are well cleaned and swept, and desks are not broken. The library is full of novels and course-relevant books to study well. Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, but their way of teaching is a little harsh, such that students have to study the topic on their own sometimes. Students get industry-ready. Semester exams are very easy to pass if you study at last, but to score well, keep studying with the syllabus.
Overall: I opted for BCA due to my passion for coding and my aspiration to become an app and web developer. The course duration of 3 years and the affordable fees per year make it accessible for middle-class families. However, the college needs to increase the number of teachers and improve the canteen facility. Additionally, the college encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities through weekly events. On average, the campus has a crowd of 100 to 150 students.
Placement: : Admission to this course was open to all students who had passed their 12th grade with a percentage of 45% or above. The salary range for graduates varied from 80,000 to 2 lakh per year. Jio and startup companies were the prominent recruiters for the BCA course
Infrastructure: The college's Wi-Fi section is average and situated in the computer lab, offering an Ethernet connection. There are four libraries in the college, with a separate library for the BCA course. The college library holds a limited amount of books, accounting for 60% of the collection. Additionally, there are two computer labs in the college, with one lab housing 80 computers.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are highly competent and always ready to assist students. They maintain communication through social media platforms like WhatsApp groups. Punctuality is also a priority for the teachers, as they arrive on time for classes. Pursuing a BCA at this college is a great choice for those seeking independence and the opportunity to establish their own source of income. The semester exams are held within a 15- to 20-kilometer radius of the college, and the questions are of average difficulty. To aid in preparation, the college provides a question bank book before the exams. The passing percentage for theory exams is 33% out of 75, and the overall passing percentage is 40% out of 100. The total marks for the course are 300+ out of 500.
Overall: I chose this course due to its relationship with computer science. The best thing about this course is that you get a chance to enter the IT sector without doing B.Tech. I would add new languages and also give more focus to practical learning. Events and fests have been joyfully organized. The campus crowd is bad. It has good public transportation connectivity. Campus supervision is residential. Scholarships are available to the U.P. government. Some extracurricular activities are organised.
Placement: Less than 10 percent of students got placed in my course. The highest package was 5 LPA in my course and the lowest package was 2.3 LPA in my course. Around 5 percent of students got internships from my course. The top role offered in my course was junior data analyst .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average for my department. There were two computer labs and one classroom but no Wi-Fi was available on campus. Only the hostel was available before but after COVID, it got close for now and Mess was not available in my time. The canteen is available on campus
Faculty: Most teachers were helpful, had good knowledge and were always keen to help students. The course curriculum is a bit old; they should revise the syllabus. The exam seems easy; you can easily pass by studying 2-3 weeks before the exam. The pass percentage is 90 percent.
Overall: : I chose B.A. LL.B. because you get a professional degree right after passing the 12th standard. Some things I wish I could improve about my course would be getting more practical knowledge about the law field rather than bookish knowledge, as the college is not so supportive of practical knowledge. There are a lot of activities conducted throughout the year, such as PPT competitions, mood court competitions, case analysis competitions and fests, which include both sports and cultural activities.
Overall: The fees they are taking is not worth it. The college has a lot of disadvantages and at this fee rate, no one can provide the things they are providing. There are many colleges with the same fee structure but they have everything along with a good faculty. This college just doesn't fit in the category. In the name of events, they just give us a freshers party, where every year the students are allowed to welcome the newcomers. There is a fest called Abhivyakti which is conducted once a year for mostly traditional performances.
Placement: To be very honest the placements are just a myth which the college teachers create when they interview you. They give you hopes for 100% placements convincing you to be a student of their college, but you are just given the worst of options here. The bare minimum salary offered is 3000 a month or so.
Infrastructure: The Library is good but has no AC, books are not even available there. The classrooms are like that of a government school with a lot of windows and smart boards that they never use along with whiteboards. The paint is so old in the classes that one can truly make a historical film here. There is no Wi-Fi facility and in case the Wi-Fi is connected, it has no or very low internet speed.
Faculty: The faculty is far beyond worst. Examination fees is taken before the exams which if due to the mistake of the college or the university gets deducted twice from the students’ account, the college will not refund it and the university mostly doesn’t even responds to it until you reach their main campus in Meerut. There is no other activity like dance, sports, etc. available. Expect once a year, sports day is held.
Overall: There are 240 students in my course, with 40 students in each class. The highest package is 7.5 Lacs and the lowest package is 1.5 Lacs. Companies for our course placement include Amazon, Flipkart, etc. There are no internships for BCA students. The top role is software developer. Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the computer lab with high-speed data connectivity. The labs are well maintained and contain 2019 Windows desktops. Classrooms are clean and swept, and desks are not broken. The library is filled with novels and course-relevant books for studying well. Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, but their way of teaching is a little harsh, so sometimes students have to study the topic on their own. Students become industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to pass if you study at the last minute, but to score well, keep studying with the syllabus. Other: I chose the course due to its relation with Computer Science. The best thing about the course is that you can enter the entire IT sector without doing B.Tech.
Overall: The percentage of students who were placed in my course is 62%.The highest average package offered in my course is 2.50 LPA. The lowest average package offered in my course is 1.50 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my course is Amazon, Flipkart, Mahindra teach, etc. The percentage of students who got internship from my course is 60% and companies Amazon . Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course/department are: Wi-Fi, Labs, classrooms, libraries, play zone, etc. The quality of the facilities in my hostel—the quality of food available in the message and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games—is excellent All the quality and services are excellent . Faculty: The teacher is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is that some time is better and some time is available.
