The College is located at Radaur in the Yamuna Nagar district of Haryana State. Like any other college, the college campus has a life of its own. Thanks to its rich heritage and its location, Mukand Lal National College has a unique Campus with lush green playground and scenic beauty which gives a soothing effect. The college is equipped with all the facilities for the students like spacious library, canteen, computer labs etc.
The College has two N.S.S. Units with a total of 200 Volunteers. Students of various disciplines and classes are enrolled in it. Volunteers are required to participate in 3 one day camps and one Special Camp of 7 days in a year. Besides, they take part in N.S.S. Day Celebration, Blood Donation, extension lectures, literacy programmes and other social awareness programmes of the college.
If a volunteer attends 2 special Camps and donates blood twice and attends one day camps and actively participates in other activities which are organized from time to time, he/she is eligible to get University Merit Certificate. This certificate gives 5% extra weightage for getting admission in University PG Courses and is also beneficial in getting Jobs. A large number of our volunteers have been awarded University Merit Certificates.
National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.) provides solid platform to the Indian Youth studying in schools and colleges to join Defence Forces. College has a very active Platoon of 54 Senior Division NCC Cadets. Besides encouraging NCC Cadets to join Armed Forces, all round development of personality remains a focused concern so as to make them fit for any field they wish to join in their life. Our cadets regularly participate in the camps and other exercises like shooting, drill, etc.
College has constituted a women cell with a senior lady teacher being its In-charge to make girls aware of their rights and laws regarding their protection against domestic violence, dowry, sexual harassment etc. For this purpose extension lectures, seminars and competitions are organized at college and inter college level. On 8th March, Women’s day is celebrated every year in which college students actively participate.
