A Pass in H.S.C.Academic or Vocational scheme with minimum marks as stated below is required:

Other state candidates should have 60% in the relevant subjects, irrespective of the community. Such candidates have to produce Equivalent Certificate obtained from the Director of Technical Education, Chennai.

Community Certificate

• Community Certificates are to be obtained as follows:
• BC/MBC-Revenue authority in the rank of Deputy Tahsildar and above.
• SC - Revenue official in the rank of Deputy Tahsildar and above.
• ST - Revenue Division Officer and above

Diploma Holders

• For direct admission to second year B.E.,the eligibility norms are as follows:

Bsc Graduates:

Candidates should have scored 60% in aggregate with Mathematics as a subject.

The Candidate must be graduate (BE/B.Tech) in the Relevant stream.
