RUAS has launched a new course called the Postgraduate Diploma in Facility Management (PGDFM) which is a three-trimester programme. It is an NBA-accredited PGDM programme offered to students who want to become professionals in the facility management field. According to an analysis by Precision Reports, the global facility management market is projected to reach $25.65 billion by 2027, while India's market is expected to grow to $197.56 billion by 2028 with a CAGR of 7.37%. The new PGDFM programme by Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences has been launched after observing the growing demand for facility management professionals in the world.
Enrolling in the Postgraduate Diploma in Facility Management (PGDFM) programme by RUAS will help students build expertise in facility management. In addition, students will receive two weeks of training with hands-on sessions on Global standards in Facility management from Schweizerischer Fachverband Betriebsunterhalt-SFB, Zurich, Switzerland. Students will build experience from the various industrial visits, internships, and workshops provided by the university. The faculty for PGDFM course are all PhD holders from top institutions around the world.
During the RUAS PGDFM admission, students can also claim various scholarships offered by the university. The 2024 admission is currently ongoing, and early-bird scholarships are being offered to students who are applying right now.
Achyuth K, a Bachelor of Design student specialising in Product Design at the Faculty of Art and Design (FAD), Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, has achieved All India Rank 3 in the National Level Exam conducted by the National Institute of Design (NID). He also secured the 74th rank in the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) at IIT Bombay. NEET 2025 Cutoff for BDS is expected to be around 550 to 570. For the SC category, the NEET BDS cutoff is likely to be anywhere between 380 to 420, while for the ST category, it is expected to be from 350 to 380 marks. At present, there are over 27,000 BDS seats offered by around 300 BDS colleges in India. More than 3,000 seats are available in government dental colleges, and the rest are in private and deemed institutes.
The NEET 2025 cutoff for BDS has increased in a year-on-year analysis. This is because of various factors, including the rise in the number of aspirants and the difficulty level of the exam. The NEET 2025 Exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, and the cutoff for BDS will likely release by June 14, 2025. Only those students will be considered qualified for the BDS admission counselling process who secure the NEET 2025 Cutoff for BDS or above.

The list of Colleges for up to 5,000 Rank in Karnataka PGCET MBA 2024 include Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences Bangalore, Acharya Bangalore B-School Bangalore, BMS College of Engineering Bangalore, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering Bangalore, Kristu Jayanti College Bangalore etc. among others. Candidates must obtain a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for General Category) and 45% marks (for Reserved Category) to seek admission to these colleges. To take admission through the PGCET MBA 2024 score, candidates will have to participate in the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2024 Counselling Process. They will have to choose their desired MBA colleges in Karnataka and course preferences while exercising options. After the candidates submit their college preferences in the Option Entry form, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will complete the seat allotment process based on the preferences and merit of the candidate.
The Karnataka PGCET MBA exam 2024 was conducted on August 4, 2024. The results will be released by September 2024 and candidates obtaining the minimum cutoff scores will be eligible to take part in the Karnataka PGCET 2024 counselling process which will begin in September 2024. After each round of counselling, KEA will release the PGCET 2024 cutoff rank for each college, which is the last rank at which a candidate can get allotment in that college. The cutoff rank helps a candidate determine whether they should apply for that particular college or not.
