Dear Student,

UG Veterinary admission or BVSc admission at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Chennai is granted based on the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination or 10+2 level. The calculation is as follows:

Subject

Marks

Biology

100 marks

Physics

100 marks

Chemistry

100 marks

Total

300 marks

The aggregate score is calculated out of 300, and candidates are ranked accordingly based on merit. However, this is not the only criterion for Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) Admission in India. Some institutes also accept the NEET UG scores.

Thank You

If you are interested in studying veterinary at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Chennai, you will need to take the NEET or the SLET. The minimum qualifying marks for the NEET are 50% for general category students and 40% for reserved category students. The minimum qualifying marks for the SLET are 50% for all categories. The application process is online and can be found on the college's website. The college will conduct a counseling process for all the applicants who have qualified for admission.
