NID DAT 2024: The National Institute of Design (NID) conducted the NID DAT 2024 to select students for their Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes) programs across various campuses. The exam process consisted of two stages: DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. Approximately 15,000 candidates participated in the DAT Prelims. Only those who were shortlisted from this stage advanced to the DAT Mains. The DAT Prelims, held on December 24, 2023, was generally considered to have a moderate level of difficulty, although some candidates noted that the paper was lengthy. Currently, the BDes program accepts 425 students across five campuses: NID Ahmedabad, NID Andhra Pradesh, NID Haryana, NID Madhya Pradesh, and NID Assam. Meanwhile, the MDes program offers 347 seats spread across three campuses: NID Ahmedabad, NID Gandhinagar, and NID Bengaluru.
