National Institute of Design Bangalore Placement

The Placement cell at the National Institute of Design Bangalore provides a deliberate platform to coordinate and facilitate interaction between students and industry. The institute offers project-based learning to the students. These projects can be graduation projects, industrial training, classroom projects, or live projects.

The NID Bangalore training and placement cell maintains a fruitful relationship with many design companies and MNCs and invites them to visit the campus for conducting a recruitment drive. The T&P cell also arranges for the pre-placement talks with the recruiters, so that the students get a brief idea about the company and the recruiters.

On average, about 90% of the students who graduated from the institute get placed at good jobs in the industry with handsome packages. NID Bangalore conducts a placement drive every year in the month of November. So, the NID Bangalore placement drive for the academic year 2021-22 has already started.

The placement process at the National Institute of Design Bangalore takes place according to the following steps:

  • The candidates have to register on the official website of NID Bangalore with a valid login id and password.
  • The candidates are required to fill in the contact details, company name, profile applied for, and graduation project details after performing successful login with the registered username and password.
  • After filling in the details, the candidate needs to complete the payment for the participation in the National Institute of Design Bangalore placement by means of demand draft, NEFT, or by any other form of online banking.
  • The candidates will receive the job notification by the placement cell after completing the process. The job notification will include a brief description of the job, selected discipline, offered salary, and the total number of job openings.
  • The candidate will be allotted the slots to attend the placement as per the availability. After which the candidate will have to appear in the Personal Interview round.
  • The placement agency will select the candidates after completing the several stages of placement rounds. After the final round, the result will be declared by the recruiting agency or company.

National Institute of Design, Bengaluru Placement Policy

The National Institute of Design Bangalore placement policy is stated as follows:

  • The candidate will have to provide all the correct information at the time of the NID Bangalore placement sign-up process.
  • The recruiters will have to update the status of the interview on the portal of NID Bangalore.
  • All the communication related to the placement shall be done through the placement team
  • The maximum time for the personal interview will be limited to twenty minutes per candidate.
  • The starting time of the Industry Interface will be 10.30 am and the closing time of industry interface day will be 5:30 pm.
  • The recruiting companies will have to send the final list of the selected candidates within 24 hours of the interview to the email address of the placement office.
  • The offer given after the Industry Interface to the candidate would be deemed as final.
  • The pay assured mentioned in the registration form will not be negotiated after the placement. Provided, the companies can offer higher pay to the deserving candidates after updating the information at the placement office of the NID Bangalore.

Thank you for the responce. I have done UG program in mechanical engineering (3year) after diploma (3year). Only problem is I have not done +2. I'm I eligible for both ceed and NID exams.
