On-Campus Placements:
Companies can register for campus placements. On a confirmed time and date, they may come to the campus for the placement procedure.
Pre-Placement Offers (PPO)
Companies can extend a pre-placement offer to students before the on-campus placement. These offers may be made on the basis of internships/ training/ projects undertaken by the students in the said company. To make sure that every student get their fare share. Companies can use the moderated Industry Mentor Feedback Form to inform NIFT of such offers. It is provided by the institute to ensure students offered PPO are not allowed to participate in the further Placement process of NIFT Kangra.
The placement policy of the NIFT Kangra is to give students personal and career-related support, with a particular focus on training students in employability skills and ultimately placing them in various industries/organizations through campus recruiting efforts.

The new curriculum of NIFT Kangra attempts to give the student a rich experience and understanding that will inculcate a desire and a capability for lifelong learning in these disruptive changing times. Industry engagement is considered a learning process that, by providing exposure to the students in real-life working environments as a part of an academic curriculum, helps them to develop and enhance academic, personal, and professional competencies coupled with a deeper understanding of the ethics and values that distinguish a good professional. With the help of the esteemed faculty members, the placement cell at NIFT Kangra arranged for summer internship programs for the students. The Summer internship of NIFT Kangra gives students an idea of what is expected of them and helps them train themselves in that manner for the final campus placement drives. In addition, they get to go for industrial visits as well. The internship period is for 4 to 6 weeks.
The first Convocation Ceremony of NIFT Kangra was held in 2013, the year that marked the beginning of an ongoing journey for NIFT Kangra and its Alumni. Since then, NIFT Kangra alumni have made a name for themselves in the industry.
