Merit Scholarship for B.Tech Based on JEE Main Rank

M.Tech Scholarship: The institution will offer an additional Rs. 5,000 to students with a valid GATE score. These students will also receive government scholarships in accordance with AICTE norms.
MBA Scholarship
MSc Scholarship:
PhD Merit Scholarship: Full-time PhD scholars will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 25,000 for a period of three years. Please note that these students will assist with lectures and lab sessions. Additionally, financial aid may be available from external funding agencies such as UGC, CSIR, NBHM, DST, DAE, and various industry sources.
Sibling Scholarship: Sibling scholarships are offered as a one-time benefit to immediate siblings of current students or alumni, providing an amount of Rs. 10,000.
Employee Immediate Relationship Scholarship: Spouses or children of permanent NIST employees are eligible for a 20% annual tuition fee waiver while enrolled in their studies.
Research Assistantship: The institute offers scholarships to students for research purposes or to assist faculty with research. Up to five students from the 3rd or 4th year will be selected through a competitive process. Eligible students typically need a CGPA of 9.0 with no backlogs. Selected students will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 3000 for three months.
Teaching Assistantship (TA): The Institute will fund scholarships for students to assist faculty with academic teaching activities, such as lab support and grading. Up to five students from each batch (3rd or 4th year) will be selected through a competitive process. Departments are eligible to receive a teaching assistant if at least 80% of seats are filled. Eligible students typically need a CGPA of 9.0 with no back papers. Selected students will receive a stipend of Rs. 3000 per month for five months.
Industry Collaboration Scholarship: The Industry Collaboration Scholarship is available to students involved in funded industry collaboration projects. Scholarships or awards are granted based on agreements made with the respective organisation, client, or industry partner.
Best B.Tech. Project Award: Annually, the top B.Tech. projects in categories such as Software Development, Hardware Development, and Renewable Energy receive a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 per group/student (up to 5 teams).
Sankalp Function Award: Funded by faculty and staff contributions, this award encourages student bonding and is given to students selected by a jury during tech fest activities.
This scholarship is in memory of our ex student Manas Ranjan Sahu which is awarded to a B.Tech Final year Student on the basis of Merit-cum-Means. The amount is Rs. 25000/- and the award is given annually at the beginning of the semester.
This scholarship, in the memory of a former student of 2001 batch, is given to one student per year and the amount of Scholarship is Rs.15000/-.
