About NIST Berhampur
NIST Berhampur or NIST Institute of Science and Technology is an autonomous college established in the year 1996. The college is affiliated with the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha. NIST Berhampur is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institute secured 71th rank out of 170 colleges in engineering category of IIRF Ranking 2023.
The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Some of the popular courses offered are BTech, BSc, BCA, MTech, MBA, MSc, PhD etc. Admission in all courses at NIST Berhampur is done based on NISTEE (NIST University’s Entrance Exam). The institute has academic collaboration with overseas universities such as National Taiwan University, Stanford University etc. During NIST Berhampur placements 2023, the highest package offered was Rs 23.85 LPA.
