Minimum Marks Required in NEET 2025 for MBBS is from 720 to 164 for general and EWS, and 163 to 129 for other reserved candidates. Candidates aiming to apply for graduate degrees in top medical colleges, need to score NEET passing marks for MBBS. Students who score equal to or above the minimum marks can enroll in MBBS courses offered at government as well as private medical colleges. Out of the two types of NEET cutoff, the minimum mark required in NEET is the qualifying cutoff, whereas the college-wise admission cutoff is released during the counselling process.

Dear Student, 

To get admission at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH), Patna students will have to appear for the DCECE exam or AIIMS BSc Nursing entrance exam. The registrations for the 2025 session are expected to begin in April 2025 on the official webpage. The exam will be held for 2 hours 15 minutes and there will be 90 questions asked in the examination. The application process will be held online and students will have to apply online within the deadlines to move forward with their application. Students must get 10 passes from the Bihar board with 50% to sit for the examination and get admission to the  Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH), Patna. 

Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) Admission Process

To get admission to the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) students must crack the AIIMS BSc Nursing exam or DCECE exam. Students can find the admission process details given below.

  • Students will have to register for the AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2025 or DCECE exam and fill out the exam registration form with all the required details.
  • Students will have to crack the entrance exam and pass the examination. 
  • The selected examinees will have to appear for the counselling rounds for document verification and the admission process. In the counselling round, students will have to fill out the counselling registration form with all the required details and fill in their choices for the institute. 
  • Once, all their college choices are filled then they must submit their choices within the last date. Then the exam conducting will review applications and announce the seat allotment results for every counselling round of the exam.
  • Students will have the option to choose from the list of colleges that they filled as their preferences during the registration process. Further, they have to confirm their choices in the counselling round and lock their final choices within deadlines. 
  • Then examinees must report at the allocated institute within the deadlines and then they must pay a specific amount as admission fees and confirm their seats for admission in the college.
  • Once the payment is done either through debit/credit or net banking and is confirmed by the authorities students admission is confirmed in the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH), Patna.
