CG PET exam comprises 50 questions from each physics, chemistry, and mathematics syllabus. There are a total of 150 questions in the CG PET 2025 exam. Some of the high weightage chapters in the CG PET maths syllabus are algebra - 8%, trigonometry - 7%, 2-D geometry - 6%, calculus - 7%, vector - 6%, etc. Some of the high weightage chapters in the CG PET physics syllabus are thermodynamics - 6%, gravitational - 5%, modern physics - 5%, waves & simple harmonic motion - 4%, etc. At the same time, some of the high weightage chapters in the chemistry syllabus are thermodynamics - 4%, solutions - 4%, atomic structure - 4%, and equilibrium - 3%. There will be around 18 questions from the inorganic chemistry syllabus, 12 from the organic chemistry syllabus, and around 20 from the physical chemistry syllabus. Candidates should study the CG PET 2025 syllabus in detail to be well prepared for the exam.
