CUCET has been renamed as CUET in 2022. Until 2021, CUCET was the basis of admission for all the UG and PG courses of around 20 central universities. From 2022, apart from the central universities, admission to UG and PG courses across several universities like JNU, DU, BHU, Allahabad University, etc. which earlier conducted their own entrance exams would be offered through CUET. PRIST University is one of the CUET participating universities as well. CUET UG was conducted in six phases on different dates from July 15 to August 30 in 13 languages across 259 Indian cities and 10 cities outside India. In 2022, for first time CUET, a national-level entrance examination, will be the basis of admission to 90 universities across the nation that include 44 central universities, 12 state universities, 13 deemed universities and 21 private universities.
