Institute has its own central library. Library has good collection (approx. 12400) of books on Ayurveda as well on Modern Medicine. The books are classified into General/Text books and Reference Books. Book Bank facility is also available for students of weaker section of society. Set of textbooks is provided to the students of reserved category every year. Cataloguing is operated in a scientific manner by trained staff. It has open access system. Audio- Visual aids are also applied for smooth functioning of library. Separate seating arrangement is made for teaching staff and students in the reading area of the library.With the centrally sponsored scheme of department of AYUSH, Institute has established a medicinal plant garden in the 5 acres of land; where in about 150 species of medicinal plants have been grown and preserved. It is attached with the department of Dravyaguna. Total no. of plants in herbal garden is 565 Approx. Two separate hostels for boys & girls are available located in Nehru Nagar & Dhanwantari Parishar respectively just few km. from the Institute.
