The eligibility criteria for pursuing MBBS at Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences are as follows.
Candidate must have completed Class 12th (Intermediate / 10 + 2) from a recognized board of education.
Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects in Class 12th.
Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the qualifying examination.
40% aggregate marks in compulsory subjects are required for SC / ST candidates.
Those who meet the RIMS MBBS eligibility criteria can take part in the MBBS selection process of RIMS. The MBBS selection process of RIMS is as per the guidelines of the institute as well as the regulations set by the Medical Council of India (MCI). MBBS Admissions at RIMS are done through the rank / score of a candidate in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Candidates who have scored qualifying marks in the NEET exam are required to participate in the centralised counselling process conducted by the Chattisgarh Directorate of Medical Education (CGDME). Completing Class 12th (Standard XII / Intermediate / 10 + 2) from a recognised board.
