The college has one of the best equipped libraries in the university enriched well over 40,000 books, Journals, Magazines and two reading rooms. The college has a strength of about 2500 students ably guide by a dedicated staff of 40 teachers actively engaged in teaching and research. The college has produced numerous academicians , government servants, doctors and engineers. Well equipped laboratories are a pride of our institution and the Zoology department is running a major research project under the aegis of the U.G.C. Persevering to provide a holistic approach to education the college has a playing field and a gymnasium that have produced a great number of sports persons who have brought laurels at inter collegiate , inter university, state and national levels. Among other co-curricular activities provided by the college are NCC, NSS, Rovers/Rangers and Scouts & Guides. Geographical & Educational tours are conducted by P.G. departments to provide a pro-academic perspective to our students. Well furnished hostels for boys/ girls are also provided.
