Admission to B.Com Degree courses shall be open only to candidates who have passed the Plus Two or equivalent examination recoganized by this University with Book-Keeping and Accountancy and any two of the following subjects, viz.,

• commerce
• Commercial Correspondance and Commercial Geography 
• Economics
• Life Insurance with Salesmanship
• Banking with Secreterial Practise
• Business Studies
• Mathematics
• computer Scinece/ Computer Applications
• Informatics Practice and Management
• Informatics Practice
• Management
• Accountancy as optional under Part III of the examination

OR

Have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination recognized by this University with other subjects under Part III optional subject provided they have secured 45% of aggregate marks.

The eligibility for admission to BCA Programme under the Mahatma Gandhi University is a pass in  Plus Two or equivalent examinations in science stream with Mathematics/Computer Science/ Informatics Practices as optional.    

The eligibility for admission to BBA Programme under the Mahatma Gandhi University is a pass in Plus Two or equivalent examinations in commerce/ science stream with 50%.

Any student who qualifies in the +2/ Higher Secondary course in Kerala or its equivalent approved by the Goverment of Kerala is eligible to apply for this course.

Candidate should have the passed the corresponding Degree Examination under the 10 +2 +3 pattern with one main subject and two subsidiary subjects from any of the universities in Kerala or of any other university recognized by the Mahatma Gandhi University as equivalent thereto for admission subject to the stipulation regarding marks.

Candidate who have passed Degree Examination with double or triple main subjects or candidates who have passed the Degree examination in Vocational or Specialized  Courses are also eligible for admission. However they have to submit copy of the Equivalency and Eligibility Certificate from the Mahatma Gandhi University, stating that their Qualifying Examination is recognized for seeking admission to the relevant P.G. Degree Course(s) as applicable, at the time of admission.

B.Com(Model 1/2/3) with not less than 45% marks under part 3 or BBA or BBM of this University with not less than 45% marks.
