Bachelor of Physiotherapy is an undergraduate academic Course in the field of Medical Science known as Physiotherapy. The course focuses on the use of physical therapy, massages, physical movements, and exercise to improve and cure injuries, deformities and diseases. This program will provide the students with theoretical and clinical knowledge of diseases of the human body movements and their physiotherapy management. LPU School of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences is recognized among India’s best Physiotherapy colleges in Punjab. The school follows a practice-based approach to train budding practitioners in catering to patients’ needs. State-of-the-art infrastructure, labs, and up-to-date machinery aid the students in getting a hands-on learning experience to deal with physical problems faced by patients and help them rehabilitate. The program structure, teaching faculty, infrastructure, innovative pedagogy, and practical approach towards learning make the LPU the best option for pursuing the BPT Programme. The program has an integrated curriculum including interdisciplinary patient-centered and self-directed learning to facilitate the integration of the clinical and basic sciences. The Course encompasses campus-based patient scenarios for learning in a clinical environment. LPU provides innovative and practice-based teaching to the students. workshops, Guest Lectures, Clinical Training, Physiotherapy camps, and Lab experiments enrich the practical knowledge of students. Elective courses from within the discipline, to give more depth or breadth to a student's core competencies. The program is approved by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. The eligibility criteria of the BPT program is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or equivalent. Some job profiles that emphasize the course of BPT are Assistant Physiotherapist, Therapy Manager, Sports Physio Rehabilitator, Osteopath, and others.
