No candidate, with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/ she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics and English as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level and minimum 40% marks in Aptitude Test (NATA). 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/ State Governments with 50% aggregate marks and minimum 40% marks in Aptitude Test (NATA). International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination and minimum 40% marks in Aptitude Test (NATA).
STEP 1 - Apply for NATA entrance exams. The detailed brochure, procedure for application shall be released on this website on 26 February 2014.
NATA 2014 Registration form can filled and submitted ONLINE from this website www.nata.in, by payment of NATA fees.
Download the Prefilled Registration form and procure the necessary registration documents (mentioned on NATA website).
Select a Test Center (from the website http://www.nata.in) at a location convenient to the candidate. Approach the Test center for Appointment for NATA Exam.
STEP 2 -Once you get your NATA exam (with a score of minimum 80/200) you should visit www.maharch.org for the online application form to be available ( There is also a newspaper announcement for MASA CAP process)
Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture (MASA) conducts centralized admissions known as MASA CAP
STEP 3 -Go to ARC (Application Form Receipt Center will be usually an architecture college mentioned on the MASA website) to fill the online application form. This form is to be filled on the web site www.maharch.org as per the schedule. Take along a DD/PO, two latest passport size photographs and attested copies of the required documents as mentioned on MASA website.
You will be assigned a unique Application ID and the staff will guide you through the process of filling up the forms.
Using this Application ID, you will be able to log-on to the online admission system to check status of processing of your application form, check position in the merit list, allotment of seat, etc.
Confirm the submission of Application Form with ARC officer.
STEP 4 - As per your merit number you need to appear at the chosen center and confirm your admission at the college of your preference as per availability. The detailed schedule for the same is available on the MASA website.
