Students can apply for a variety of scholarships, including Post-Matric, Need-Based, Student-Specific, Merit-Based, and Caste-Based ones.
Post Matric Scholarship for SC and ST Category:
- For male candidates, the annual income cap is Rs 2,50,000.
- For female candidates, there is no upper salary cap.
- As they are solely qualified for maintenance allowance, female candidates with salaries beyond Rs 6,00,000 are not at all eligible for tuition.
- The applicant living in the institute hostel is charged Rs 12,000/- year for meals.
Other Backward Classes
For SEBC Students
Criteria:
- The annual income cap for candidates is Rs. 150000 for both boys and girls.
- The cost of meals for applicants staying in the institute hostel is Rs. 12000/- per year.
For NTDNT Students
- The annual income cap for candidates is Rs 200000 for both boys and girls.
- Scholarships are given in the form of tuition payments, maintenance payments, and test costs up to Rs. 50000.
Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability
Criteria:
- The annual income of the parents does not exceed Rs 2,50,000/-.
- To be eligible for this grant, students must have a valid disability certificate.
Benefits: Tuition costs, exam fees and books, and maintenance allowance are all established by the government.
Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana Gujarat State
Criteria:
- Students who have completed their 10th/12th grade in Science or General with an 80 percent grade point average from an accredited board school in the state of Gujarat.
- Students obtained a diploma with a minimum of 65% from a university or institution in the state of Gujarat.
- The annual income limit for both girls and boys is Rs 6,00,000/-.
CM Scholarship Scheme
Criteria:
- Meritorious and needy pupils who have completed their 12th grade in any subject.
- The income limit for both girls and boys is Rs 4,50,000/- per year.
Benefits of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana Gujarat State and CM Scholarship: Scholarships in the form of financial assistance for accommodation and books, as well as tuition costs, are provided as determined by the government.
Pragti/ Saksham Scheme
Criteria :
- The scheme is open to unmarried girls from families with an annual income of less than Rs 800,000/-. Furthermore, the one admitted to an AICTE-approved diploma or degree programme.
Benefits: The student would receive Rs 30,000/- in lieu of tuition costs.
Students who live in a dormitory would be entitled for a contingency allowance of Rs 20,000.
Gujarat Unreserved Education & Economic Development Corporation
Criteria:
- Students who have enrolled in courses such as medical, paramedical, dental, and technical programmes, as well as those who live in a private dormitory, are eligible to get reimbursement for their meal expenses.
- The annual family income does not exceed Rs 4,50,000/-.
Benefits: Candidates staying in hostels will be provided with a food bill of Rs 12,000/- per year.
