Shia P.G. College Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Stipends, Scholarships and Financial Assistance :

• S.C./S.T./O.B.C. students are granted scholarships by the U.P.Govt. on the recommendation of the Principal,

• Financial assistance is also granted by the U.P. Govt. to other deserving and poor Students,

• A large numberof Full-freeships and Half-freeships are awarded to deserving and poor students,

• Poor and deserving Students are also given aid from the Students Aid Fund of the College,

• A merit scholarship called S.Ali Zaheer Memorial Scholarship is awarded to the best Student in each faculty,

• Another scholarship known as Maulana S.M.H. Tahir Jarwali Memorial Scholarship is also awarded to the best Student in each faculty,

• Five special scholarships called S. Mohd. Naqi Advocate Memorial Scholarship have been instituted from the session 2000-2001 to encourage Students of Shia community for achieving academic excellence.

Notes : 

• The application for the fee concession should be submitted to the fee clerk concerned in the central office on the prescribed form along with the income certificate of the parent / guardian and the mark sheet of the last examination passed by the applicant.

•  Freeship will be awarded to the Students as per Government rules 

• Fee concession is valid only for one year and can be renewed in the next year depending upon availability of funds after applying afresh 

• No concession or assistance in fees is available to regular Students availing Back Paper facility

• All the concessions will be subject to the approval by the concession Sub-Committee of the Managing Committee.
