Overall: Pursuing Shiv Nadar University was a challenging but rewarding experience. Coursework is good and the competition is too much, but it forces you to excel.
Placement: Shiv Nadar University provides the placement opportunities to students. But the students with higher GPA are likely to get the placements . I had good profile with strong skills and internship experience. I found it challenging to secure a job through campus.
Infrastructure: Shiv Nadar University is kind a mix of traditional and modern infrastructure providing a unique ambiance. Some Classrooms are air conditioned and cleaned, creating a conductive learning environment.
Faculty: Shiv Nadar University has a commendable faculty staff. They focus on research and encourage students to participate in projects. Teachers are supportive.
Hostel: Hostels rooms are big and have enough storage space. Rooms have cupboard, beds with matress, study chair and table. But laundary service is not good and unreliable.
Overall: I chose Shiv Nadar University to do my MBA and one of the mian attraction to do so was placement opportunities. The private university has a record of good salary packages over the years. Some of my seniors suggested me the university and I cannot be more thankful. Even though it's a private university, it has been accredited by NAAC with an A grade which is a huge achievement. I qualified in CAT and took admission at the university.
Placement: The highest salary package available to our batch was Rs 58.09 Lakhs per annum, which was GOOD, quite frankly. The average salary package for us MBA students was RS 10.04 Lakhs per annum. The university invites popular recruiters for placements such as Cognizant, American Express, Amazon, Infosys, Goldman Sachs and more.
Infrastructure: Shiv Nadar University campus is spread over an area of 286 acres and has all the state of the art infrastructure. The university is entirely under CCTV surveillance for the security of the students. The indoor sports complex is one of the main attractions of the university. We would play table tennis in the free time. The most ridiculous thing I saw was a saloon inside the campus. Other than that, everything was quite basic but upto the mark. The canteen food menu is also healthy and vast, as compared to other universities.
Hostel: The hostels are available for both girl and boy students at the university in the variety of AC and non-AC. Every room has the facility of bed, mattress, study table, chair, wardrobe and more. The mess food was also good and there was a common gym as well.
