Classes for all undergraduate programs will commence in July 2025, signifying the start of the academic year.
Starting from the academic year 2025, PES University will exclusively consider JEE Main and KCET scores for admissions into its B.Tech programs.
The university has announced that the PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) will be discontinued for B.Tech admissions starting from the academic year 2025.
The first round of seat allotments for the B.Tech program will take place in February/March 2025, marking a critical step in the admission process.
The second round of seat allotments for the B.Tech program will happen in May 2025, providing another opportunity for admissions.
June 2025 is the last month for students to register for the B.Tech 2025 program, which is crucial for enrollment.
Orientation programs for students admitted to the B.Tech program at both Ring Road and Electronic City campuses will take place in July/August 2025.
The commencement of classes and activities for the B.Tech program is set for August 2025, marking the start of the new academic year.
The first round of counseling for B.Arch students at PES University will occur in June 2025, allowing candidates to select seats.

About PES University
People's Education Society University was established in 2013. It was established under the Karnataka State Act of 2013. The university is also known as PESU Bangalore or PES University. The university has been accredited by NAAC and is approved by the AICTE. The university has also secured a place in the rank band of 100-150 in the engineering category in the NIRF Ranking 2023.
PES university offers a range of courses at the diploma, undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral levels. It offers a total of 27 courses and some of the popular courses offered by the university are B.Tech, BA, B.Com, B.Sc, M.Tech, M.Com, MSc and so on. PES university admission is offered based on different entrance exams for various courses MAT, CAT, GATE, KCET JEE MAIN etc. The university even has its own entrance exam called PEESAT for different courses in arts, science, law and management stream.
The PES University campus is spacious and is equipped with various high-end facilities for better learning experiences. The campus has hostels, library, etc. for the students. The university also provide placement opportunities to its students through campus placements. As per current statistics for the year 2023, 1145 students got placed in top companies with the highest package of Rs 65 LPA. The average package in the university was Rs 4.90 LPA and 67 companies including Delliote, HP, IBM, Cisco visited the campus drive.

PES University Courses and Admission 2024
PES University courses are offered in various streams such as commerce, science, pharmacy, design, management and so on. Innovation and technology-related courses are one of the most sought-after courses in the university. PESU admissions are offered through CMAT/CAT, GATE, KCET/JEE MAIN for MBA, MTech and BTech respectively. Apart from these exams the university also conducts PESSAT for PSE University admissions. Candidates applying for the PhD courses need to go through the PESSAT research selection process, and candidates are shortlisted for the interview rounds based on the results of PESSAT.
The university offers 27 courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels. PES University courses include 3 B.Des degrees and 10 B.Tech specialisations at UG level. Students at the postgraduate level have access to a vast array of specialisations, with 20 available for M.Tech and 2 specialistaions in MBA programme. - All eligible candidates must submit the PESU application form 2024.
- Candidates must apply, undertake, and obtain valid scores in any of the following exams: PESSAT, PGCET, LSAT, CLAT, CMAT, MAT, CAT, GMAT, or GRE applicable to the course opted for.
- Candidates are shortlisted based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam.
- Shortlisted candidates have to get the documentation process done and pay the PES University fees.

In order to provide financial aid to its students, the university provides scholarship to the students meeting the requisite eligibility criteria. The scholarships available are merit or need-based. It also provides stipend to meritorious students who help the faculty in the teaching-learning process. Students can go through multiple scholarships below.
- MRD Scholarship - Under this scholarship, students get a 50% waiver on their tuition fees. This scholarship is awarded to students in the top 5% of their class. Aside from this, students should also maintain a consistent CGPA in the academic year.
- Distinction Scholarship - Those students who maintain a SGPA of 7.5 or above in a given academic year will receive a cash prize as a distinction award.
- Corporate Scholarship - Final-year students having good academic records receive Corporate Scholarships. Corporate firms, along with the placement cell of the university, work closely together to recognize the students who have good scores as well as merit.
- Teaching Assistantships -As per the PSEU scholarship policy, students who have teaching acumen can help their professors in teaching. In return, students are compensated with monetary returns from the university.
