To pursue a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at Shobhit University Meerut, applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria. Candidates should have a Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university, with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Additionally, they must have qualified in a national-level entrance examination such as UGC-NET (including JRF)/CSIR-NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil. with a minimum of 55% marks. Applicants who have completed their Master's degree through distance education or part-time mode are not eligible. The university may also conduct a personal interview or written test as part of the selection process.
