Overall: SRCC in New Delhi is one of the best commerce colleges you will come across in India, it offers UG and PG courses in the fields of commerce and economics. Also, a PG Diploma is offered in Global Business Operations. Having only two major UG courses which are commerce and economics, the curriculum is more structured and focussed, unlike other colleges. Because of this placements are also much better as compared to other DU colleges that offer commerce programmes. Additionally, the college devotes all of its resources to these two courses alone, classifying it as a form of specialised institution.
Placement: Due to the less number of departments, the placements offered are really good and more structured. The SRCC placements packages offered are excellent. Almost 80% of students are placed in various industries and organisations each year, often at extremely high salaries. The highest package offered is Rs 50 lakhs per year, and the lowest salary package offered is Rs 8 lakhs per year.
Infrastructure: The SRCC campus is one of the best in New Delhi. It has a well-maintained infrastructure and updated classrooms and cutting-edge equipment. Some of the Shri Ram College of Commerce facilities include classrooms with central air conditioning, LCD projectors, internet connectivity 24x7, a seminar room with 750 seats, a fully functional gymnasium and student and staff parking facilities. The SRCC campus has undergone renovations to include new ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms designed specifically for students with disabilities.
Faculty: The SRCC faculty members are excellent, and all of the teachers are skilled in their fields. They are very approachable, and they welcome the opportunity to assist you with both academic and personal matters. The course material is current and truly aids you in developing the knowledge you need to work in any sector.
Hostel: For boys and girls, the college offers separate dorms or hostel facilities. The boy's hostels have 150 beds and the girl's hostels have 53 beds. Shared rooms are provided. Their living quarters, canteens, and restrooms are all spotless. The SRCC hostels are within the campus. Accommodation at hostels is based on seat availability, therefore enrollment in the college does not guarantee enrollment in the hostel. Only students who are not residents of Delhi are eligible for the hostel facilities.
Overall: SRCC is a full commerce college. Overall it is good and has one of the best campuses among other DU-affiliated colleges. The best teaching quality is available. Regular lessons are held every day. Daily classes are from 8:30 to 1:30 every day. All lectures are given in English so that students who do not speak Hindi can also comprehend the material. The SRCC course material is current and will prepare the students for the workplace. The course fees are affordable making it possible for every student to pursue their desired programmes.
Placement: SRCC is excellent for students who want to work in the corporate sector. The highest compensation package offered in the 2022 placements is Rs 30 LPA, and the average package was roughly Rs 10.79 lakh per year. Students can complete internships while in college. MNCs like KPMG, McKinsey and Co, IBM and Cognizant hire the maximum number of students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is strong in the college. Air conditioners are available in every classroom. Students are given access to WIFI. The library is fantastic since it provides a conducive environment for learning. There are common rooms for recreation. Additionally, the college has dorm rooms for both male and female students. Sports facilities are provided which include a cricket ground, football ground, hockey ground, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton courts, a wrestling space and facilities for judo and karate. There is also a swimming pool as well.
Faculty: Although all of the professors are very competent and knowledgeable, they do not offer as much support. Other than that the SRCC faculty members are excellent and well-behaved. A lot of them have PhDs. Since they need equal participation from all students in every topic, their teaching methodology is very distinctive.
Hostel: There are a limited number of hostels available, and they are distributed based on merit using the class 12 score in the first year and the semester results in the following years. Many students often opt for PGs nearby. The cost of renting a PG depends on your budget and can be anywhere between Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000 per month. It is simple for girls to get appropriate PG facilities, but it can be a bit challenging for boys due to the lack of PGs available for boys.
Overall: As one of the top commerce colleges in India, Shri Ram College of Commerce offers excellent academics and coaching and practically all of its students receive a top-notch education and solid placements. The SRCC course curriculum includes a variety of topics, including business law, financial accounting, company legislation, and corporate law, among others. Cost accounting, taxation, and other topics are also taught to help students connect theoretical knowledge with practical training. The Shri Ram College of Commerce fees is around Rs 30,000 per year. Exams for the semester are not challenging. More than 90% of students pass the exam.
Placement: This college has some of the top placements in the nation, with more than 70–80% of students receiving on-campus jobs. In the prior year, Rs 25 LPA was the largest wage package that was provided. The typical compensation package is Rs 8 LPA. For Shri Ram College of Commerce placements, leading recruiting firms like Deloitte, BCG, Dalberg, Zomato, Wipro, McKinsey and Company and Google visit our college. Excellent internship opportunities are offered by businesses like Dell, Google, SBI, Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: SRCC is excellent, with a sizable library, sizable classrooms, and a recently built theatre. Even Wi-Fi is available everywhere on the campus, and there are separate, well-equipped hostels for girls and boys. The labs are well-equipped, and the classrooms are very comfortable with air conditioning. The infrastructure at the college is excellent. The campus life at the college is excellent. Here, students come from all around India and abroad to attend classes, hence the campus offers a very diverse culture. It has the largest sports complex in Delhi. A wrestling room, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a tennis court, a badminton court, a swimming pool, a judo mat, and karate mats are among the SRCC sports facilities offered.
Faculty: The professors are competent and skilled. Most of them have doctorates or are working toward getting one. They assist students in publishing their findings by acting as mentors and participating in research. The professors are friendly and supportive.
Hostel: Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. There is limited seating in the hostels. The boy's hostels have 150 seats while the girls have 53. Clean restrooms, a mess, common areas, laundry facilities, and medical and healthcare resources from the Basic Health Care Unit (BHCU) are all available in the hostel. You can opt for PGs nearby as well. The PG fees are around Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000 per month.
Overall: SRCC Cutoff : Students should be aware that the institution will not publish a merit-based cutoff for the 2023 session. This suggests that there won't be a cutoff list based on the proportion of students in class 12 like there was for the Shri Ram College of Commerce cut off in 2021. The CUET UG 2023 test will serve as the only basis for UG admissions, while the DUET PG 2023 exam will serve as the basis for PG admissions. The college will publish its merit list and the counselling timetable in accordance with the CUET results. The cutoff CUET for the SRCC will be this. The subject-based normalised CUET or DUET scores of students will be used by the institution to create the merit lists for admissions even though there won't be any Shri Ram College of Commerce merit lists produced based on the candidates' prior qualifying exams. The inaugural CUET merit list for admission to Shri Ram College of Commerce's undergraduate programmes was made public on September 15, 2022. On November 30, 2022, the first merit list for DUET was made public. The second DUET merit list for 2023 was made public on December 7. The CUET 2023 Merit List is based on the SRCC Delhi Cut Off CSAS Allocation List.
