Overall: Without any doubt, Sri Ram College of Commerce also known as SRCC is one the best colleges in India. The college is NAAC accredited as well. I got admission in 2015 through sports quota. During my time, admission were made based on Class 12 scores but now the college accepts CUET UG scores. SRCC has best faculty, best placements and best facilities for students.

Placement: When it comes to placement, SRCC is second to none. The college has consistently maintained a record of more than 90% placement percentage. Top notch companies such as Google, Amazon, IBM, KPMG, Accenture hire SRCC students. Once you get into SRCC, there is no need to worry about placements, unless you have backlogs.

Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure no body can beat SRCC. The college NBA standard basketball court and international standard football field are unbeatable. Furthermore, it is the only college of Delhi University which has fully centralised air conditioned academic buildings.

Faculty: All facutly at SRCC are highly experienced and expert in their field. They have more than 10 years of teaching experience. There is a myth that SRCC is all about academics. But in reality, it gives equal weightage to academics and extra curricular activties.

Hostel: SRCC hostels have best facilties for students. The college offers hostels to students based on academic merit. Also, hostels are allotted to students on first cum and first serve basis with preference given to outstation students.

SRCC is the Mecca of Commerce: The Best Undergraduate Experience in Commerce in the Country
By Krishiv Agrawal | Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) | 2024

Overall: While it’s famous for its academic rigour and crème-de- la-crème crowd from outside, it’s much more than that. One of the most formative experiences that I’ve had, in terms of meeting people from diverse backgrounds and creating value with them through societies. Besides the college atmosphere is competitive which always makes you push outside your comfort zone to get the best out of you. Last but not the least, the brand SRCC opens a lot of doors and avenues, which would otherwise be shut.

Placement: In the recently concluded placement season 2023-24, companies across Consulting, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Audit visited campus. Prestigious firms included McKinsey, BCG, Kearney, Blackstone, JP Morgan, Nomura, Avendus IB, O3 Capital and many more. Average Placements around 10 LPA. Highest Package at 35 LPA.

Infrastructure: Spread across 18 Acres, SRCC has a lot to offer in terms of infrastructure. 1. Air-conditioned Classrooms 2. Lift for disabled 3. Dedicated sports complex (host to national games and commonwealth games) 4. Auditorium 5. Canteen 6. Huge Sports Ground 7. Boys and Girls Hostel 8. Cafés (Nescafé, Amul etc.)

Faculty: Faculty at SRCC is top-notch. Most of them are SRCC students themselves. Others have actually pursued their PHDs from IIMs, FMS, Harvard, JNU, Oxford etc. They have penned several books which are in use across DU and other central universities.

Hostel: Hostels aren’t as good as they should be. While they’re extremely economical and easy on the pocket, they lack some basic infrastructural necessities. Absence of Air- conditioning in Delhi’s scorching summers is too big a reason to not consider them. At the same time, they offer some great memories of a lifetime.

Overall: The University works tirelessly to uphold the highest standards of quality in all areas of research, teaching, and learning. The University strives to promote intellectual development via ongoing study, debate, discussion, and innovation. The University is dedicated to cultivating in its students and faculty members a feeling of social responsibility as part of its commitment to their social, economic, cultural, and spiritual growth. The University is dedicated to fostering openness, respect, and tolerance among its stakeholders in order to encourage responsibility. Through the adoption of ecologically friendly practices, the University actively encourages environmental awareness among its students. The University is dedicated to fostering the values of social inclusivity, interpersonal peace, national unity, and economic prosperity. In order to implement various programmes in university education and to conduct serious research on Deendayal Upadhyaya's thought and philosophy, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Sodhpeeth's primary goals are to promote national and international development and the protection of humanity. However, the following points should be made : to honour Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya's memory by providing a useful tribute, to introduce Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya's character and ideology to the pupils, in order to study intellectuals and researchers working in the humanities and social sciences in the context of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya's ideas and philosophy, a comprehensive, cutting-edge, well-equipped research centre is needed. In the social and economic sphere, do research and put the integral human vision into practice. Centred on the integral human and collectivism, practical in regards to national and international challenges, to publish, distribute, and translate into various languages all of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya's works so that the general people may profit from them, to connect with research institutes and to coordinate efforts there in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya's honour.

Placement: For undergraduate students at DDU GKP, there aren't many opportunities for on-campus employment. However, postgraduate students with an overall grade of at least 65% have a chance to get assignments. Recruiters from banks are frequently seen on the campus of DDU GKP. Although IT businesses like Tata also attend events, their student intake is modest. Despite this, the DDU GKP placement cell provides sufficient preparation and assistance for off-campus job options in addition to meeting the needs of students planning to sit the UPSC test. A dedicated placement cell at DDU GKP assists students in finding jobs at reputable businesses. 97 LLB, 7 LLM, and 10 MBA students were placed at the DDU GKP placements in 2021, according to the NIRF report. The median packages for LLB and LLM students were 2.05 and 1.86 lakhs rupees per annum, respectively. INR 1.95 LPA was the average income for the MBA course.

Infrastructure: From the first to second floors, there are twelve large halls at the university's examination and assessment centre. This facility satisfies the demand for the evaluation of several university exams. A huge number of regular and private students from various classes may be evaluated in this facility at once, which is extremely advantageous given the several institutions that are affiliated with it. As a result, the total amount of time required for assessment has been decreased. Results are now available in a short period of time. The building is also utilised for examination-related pre- and post-activities. The DDU Gorakhpur University's Health Centre was built in 1957 with the intention of offering employees and students access to general healthcare services. The current health center's facility was first constructed in 1966, and Dr. G. S. Shukla's honest efforts allowed it to grow. The university's health centre is furnished with tools including thermometers, blood pressure monitors, scales for measuring height and weight, stretchers, and patient beds, among other things. Three permanent and six contract personnel, together with two allopathic and one homoeopathic part-time doctors, all contribute to the efficient operation of the health centre.

Faculty: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University faculty comprises excellent and helpful teachers. In addition, we receive instruction from academics from outside institutions, who aid our understanding by giving us examples from the business world. We also have a mentor who gives us personalised guidance. A counsellor is also accessible on campus to help with any kind of stress. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University Teachers and professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have years of experience teaching at several Indian universities, thus they are exceptional teachers and have a fantastic manner of instruction. Every semester's tests are simple since all of the questions are taken directly from the faculty members' class notes, therefore attendance in class every day is necessary to do well on exams. In every semester, more than 95% of students pass. The content of this Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University course is really current and is also one that is prepared for the workplace.

Hostel: Students are assigned to many topics at the Gautam Buddha Hostel, including Hindi, English, Geography, History, Ancient History, Sociology, Chemistry, and others. The No. 1 Commerce College in India (SRCC)
By Reena Mishra | Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) | 2023
April 14, 2023 03:08:20
5

Overall: My course is a B.com hons, which lasts three years and consists of six semesters. Exams were given twice a year, in May and December. In this course, we learned about accounting, business, marketing, human resource management, general management, income tax, auditing, and many other topics. Bcom provides good knowledge of all of the subjects stated above for a commerce student, allowing him to specialise in one of them in his later studies. Our college's faculty is among the greatest in India; many of them are book writers whose works we study in school and college, and there are teachers for every 5 to 10 students. The admissions process was rather simple; they only required a certain percentage in class 12, and if you met that condition, you were admitted. Application forms are available on the official website. The teachers are far more helpful; their knowledge base is vast, and they are all highly certified.

Placement: Our college placement cell is fantastic since we get internship possibilities in the second year of college and in the final semester, numerous firms such as Big4's, TCS, and others visit our campus for recruiting and our last year's first phase. The highest placement is 35 LPA, while the average is 13.25LPA. Students in the fifth semester are eligible for placements with no backlogs. Every important organization, including Bain, Deloitte, PWC, EY, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, and others, makes more than enough placement offers ranging from 6 lakhs to 32 lakhs. Almost 90% of students who are interested in this get placed. This year, I was also hired by ICICI Bank with a salary of 9 lakhs. Various companies visit our campus and give internship opportunities for students in various job categories such as audit & tax, consulting, and so on. With a monthly allowance of Rs 35,000 on average.

Infrastructure: SRCC has one of the best infrastructures in the country, meeting international standards. It is one of the few institutions at the University of Delhi that has upgraded its classrooms to allow for modern teaching equipment and methodologies. The College offers centrally air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors, tutorial rooms, a library, a cutting-edge seminar room, and a fully equipped theatre seating over 750 people. With new ramps, lifts, and special washrooms added to the building, the College takes pride in being a differently-abled friendly campus. In addition, the College has a variety of facilities to meet the reading, hearing, and comprehension needs of its students. The SRCC library is an empowering institution that includes a Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired and a variety of audio-visual aids to aid in the process of self-actualization. The College has refurbished hostels, medical support systems (including a physiotherapy clinic), and a contemporary gymnasium.

Faculty: Each course had around 75 lectures, for a total of 26 subjects. Teachers had an average age of roughly 40 years. Some of them were qualified teachers, including a Delhi University assistant professor. They all had master's degrees, and some even had doctorates. They had extensive teaching experience, and the majority of them had written scholarly publications that were part of our curriculum. The teachers are among the top in the Delhi University system. There is a good mix of young and seasoned faculty. Some of them have written books that are used throughout Delhi University. Experienced professors have more than 25 years of teaching expertise. And youthful faculty members are in charge of teaching pupils about technological advancements and the changing dynamics of the corporate world. Every day, there are four lectures. Also, make a library available. And teachers have a lot of experience in their industry and classes.

Hostel: Yes, I chose a hostel for my first year. The hostel is fantastic. Two persons share a room with two cots with shelves, bedsheets and pillows. We have a colourful garden with gorgeous flowers in the hostel. Indoor sports equipment is available for use in the hostel. There is a nice diet menu. Hostel spots are restricted and are allocated on a merit basis based on 12th grade results in the first year and semester performance in future years. The PG rental depends on your budget and can range from Rs 10,000 to 25,000 per month, with the services being directly proportionate to how much you spend on the PG rental. It is simple for girls to obtain PG accommodations, but it is more difficult for boys due to a lack of PG accommodations. The hostel offered two or three sharing options. Hostel spaces are limited to 50 each cohort.

You are an SRCC student who performs below average (as you are a topper like everyone else around you) Lessons run from 8:30 am to 5:15 pm (if you're lucky, they won't start at 8:30), and each section has its own schedule. The lectures are quite interesting, and there are lots of great discussions. Life is fantastic at SRCC. The lectures are quite interesting, and there are lots of great discussions. There are roughly 30–40 student-run organisations and cells that are excellent at organising various festivals and events. You'll find a remarkable group of folks here who are all aiming to motivate you in some manner. At SRCC, every day is different, which makes it an adventure.

Placement: The first phase of the Recruitment Season 2020–21 (Sep–Dec) was successful at Shri Ram College of Commerce. SRCC observed that despite the pandemic-related slowdown, its esteemed recruiters persisted in participating. It is projected that the growth-oriented trend from the first phase will continue into the second phase of the recruitment season 2020–21. With over 130 offers from 24 recruiters, the SRCC's average salary grew to INR 9.8 LPA, while the median pay rose to Rs 8.47 LPA. The largest package, worth Rs 25 LPA, was donated by a significant financial company for the first phase (Sep 20–Dec 20).Although the banking sector had a 110% rise in proposals made, numerous other businesses also experienced similar growth patterns, allaying any worries about a hiring freeze. Accenture Strategy eventually used hand-selection to select fresh talent from the college for a range of business domains from consulting firms like McKinsey & Company and Bain Capability Network to finance organisations like Deutsche Bank and Citibank and several first-time highest category recruiters like Kepler Cannon. For summer internships at SRCC, the number of offers climbed by 142%, and the number of pre-placement offers reached an all-time high of 22 during the first phase. The largest monthly pay at the time was a staggering INR 1.5 lakh.

Infrastructure: One of the top universities in the nation, SRCC, has an infrastructure that meets or exceeds international standards. Modern classrooms have been installed at one of the few institutions of the University of Delhi to enable instruction using cutting-edge equipment and methods. The institution has centralised air conditioning, LCD projectors with WiFi in the classrooms and tutorial areas, a library, a cutting-edge seminar room, and an auditorium with seating for more than 750 people. The Resource Centre for Visually Challenged at the SRCC Library, a freeing space with a variety of audio-visual materials, supports a self-actualization process. The College has recently renovated dormitories, medical support systems (including a physiotherapy centre), a contemporary gym, a swimming pool, a sizable parking lot (accessible to both students and faculty), an air-conditioned sports complex, and a playground that complies with international playground standards. The College now offers its students a smoke- and car-free environment as a result of recent efforts in solar heating, rainwater harvesting, paper recycling, and other environmentally friendly activities. The College has taken precautions to guarantee that it is secure and alert. The university's CCTV system satisfies the need for safety on a well-equipped campus with lots of foot traffic.

Hostel: Each semester, SRCC Delhi's men hostel can accommodate a maximum of 150 male students. 150 spots are available, some of which are reserved for students in specific categories. When selecting a hostel, the following aspects should also be taken into account (with importance given in the same order): Grades for class 12 are the same as the best of four. The distance from your origin. The class 10th scores might be utilised as a last option (but only when the pupils are in agreement with points 1 and 2, which seldom ever occurs). These restrictions, together with the advantage southern students have in terms of grades and distance, cause them to fill the majority of open spots. Therefore, even with a score of 98%, the chances of clearing the hostel selection are relatively slim, albeit not impossible. It may be difficult for new students to find adequate lodging by the time the hostel list is posted a week before the start of the new session, thus in my view one should fill out the hostel form and reserve a seat in a nearby PG.

Faculty: The faculty is top-notch, and each professor is an expert in their field. Feel free to get in touch with them whenever you need, since they are courteous and happy to help you with both academic and personal challenges. The course material expands on your prior knowledge, provides you the freedom to work in any industry, is current, and genuinely benefits you.
