Library:-Sri Akilandeswari Women’s College has built up a reputation of higher academic standards in all specialities of arts and science since 1995, a true reflection of dedication and hard work. This college’s academic excellence is reflected in its harmonious blend of infrastructure and its academic environment with high quality Library. Auditorium :-Auditorium was inaugurated during Feb 21st 2015 under the name Balakrishna Naidu-Renuammal Arangam with 13791.04 Sq.ft. The capacity of the auditorium is 2000 with proper aeration. The ceiling of the stage is decorated in Navarathana form. Seminars, Extracurricular activities, Conferences, Assembly and other activities are organised in the auditorium. Hostel:-Sri Akilandeswari women’s college hostel is functioning within the college campus from 1995 for staffs and students who are very far from the college. Earlier it was functioning in the academic block and it the year 2004 it was shifted to the administration block. (11674.80 Sq.ft) There are nine rooms with two attached bathrooms in each room with the capacity of 15 students. The rooms are spacious and wardrobes and cots are provided for the students with proper light and aeration. We provide vegetarian food and the same is prepared in the hygienic manner. The mess rates are based on dividing system under normal charges. R.O water facilities are provided for the students. Hostel students are guided by the hostel warden with regard to discipline and studies. At times of necessary the hostel staff members take care of the students in their studies. Study hours ate maintained from 6.00 to 7.30 pm and 8.30 -10.00 pm. They are allowed to utilize library during free hours and on Sundays. The internet facilities are also provided for the hostel candidates. As the part of recreation allowed to watch movies on Sundays and news papers are provided for them.
