Apart from anything else, the thing which matters the most is the place where we go to attain knowledge. The institute is situated in a rural area where all the noise of the city and distractions are absent. The area mainly is of rural nature which has a lot of open space and greenery along with silence which forms the most ideal place to study. Freshness is always present in the campus as it is situated in a rural area and thus makes it harmless for the students to get affected by any kind of air born diseases. The campus includes separate departments for various streams along with modern day library. The facility for sports is also there with the grounds present within the campus. 

Classrooms are big and spacious which makes it comfortable for the students to sit and learn along with proper ventilation measure which keeps the environment cool and reserved. Additional such as cafeteria and hostels are also present which makes it convenient for the students to have proper meals and resting place after the work hours. Students can also be found within the campus after their classes enjoying the environment and helping out their friends in the open space and enjoying the pleasant weather. 

Separate hostel accommodation for girls and boys are available. The ladies hostel houses around 240 girls. It has an independent kitchen, mess, health equipments, common room with telephone facilities etc., The gents hostel accommodates upto 600 boys with a separate mess. Considerable stress is laid on a clean environment.

The hostel provides hygienic and quality food to suit diverse tastes and preferences. A comfortable mess hall has also been provided. The hostel rooms are provided with table, chairs, cupboards, beds, common bath, and hot water facilities. The other common facilities include availability of telephone and television.

All members have to live together and enjoy the common life in a hostel. We provide a happy and healthy life in the hostel. We provide a happy and healthy atmosphere by caring for each one and by fostering  a spirit of friendliness and understanding. The members are expected to establish cordial, good relationship with one-another and to imbibe the spirit of togetherness, oneness and to make this SMIT hostel an experience of joyful residence a home away from home.

Well furnished and spacious hostels exclusively for boys and girls are available within the campus. Students are provided with quality food in a hygienic condition. Both veg and non-veg food is provided to the students.

SMASC Ensures that water and electricity are the least of our problems.

This club focuses on developing student’s communicating ability in English. Weekly one hour is allotted to train the students through debate, block and tackle & group discussions.

The cell focuses on motivating and training the students to develop new products. Workshops, seminars by leading entrepreneurs are arranged for the students.
