JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Postponed or Not? The Session 2 exam of JEE Main 2025 is definitely not postponed despite the first three days of the exam clashing with CBSE 12th regional languages, Home Science and Psychology subjects. For all the Science stream students of CBSE 12th, the exams have already concluded, and the number of students who will be affected due to the clash is minimal. NTA ensures that JEE Main Session 2 dates are usually not clash with board exam dates. The advance city intimation slip for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 has already been released, and the admit card is expected on March 29 or 31. A detailed clarity on why the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam will NOT be postponed has been given below.

Clarity on JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Postponement Rumours

Here is the detailed clarity on why the Session 2 exam of JEE Main 2025 will not be postponed -
  • The state board exams for Class 12/ Intermediate have already been concluded. Therefore, there is no impact on any Class 12 student concerning the Session 2 exam date
  • The number of students appearing for the CBSE 12th Home Science, Regional Languages/ Psychology exam is limited. Therefore, NTA will consider requests from such students who need a change in the exam date. Therefore, there is no chance for the exam postponement
  • The percentage of students who are affected by the date sheet could be less than 5%, and NTA will not revise the entire schedule of Session 2. Instead, NTA will make an alternative arrangement for such students
  • In all, students are advised not to believe any rumours about the exam postponement. JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam will NOT be postponed

If any student is affected by the date clash, they can write an email to the helpdesk of JEE via E-mail ID - jeemain@nta.ac.in . These students can send their CBSE 12th roll number, admit card PDF, along withthe  JEE Main application form number. For such students, NTA will schedule the Session 2 exam between April 5 to 8.

JEE Main Admit Card 2025 Session 2 Release Date and Time

JEE Main Admit Card 2025 Session 2: The National Testing Agency will begin the Session 2 JEE Mains 2025 exam from April 2 onwards. The advance city intimation slip of JEE Main 2025 was already released 12 days before the exam, and the admit card is expected to be released either on March 29 or 31. Usually, NTA releases the JEE Main admit card 3 days before the exam. As the exam is scheduled to take place from April 2 onwards, the admit card should ideally be released on March 30. Since March 30, 2025, is a Sunday, there is a chance that the admit card might be released either on March 29 or 31. The chances of the admit card release on March 29 are high. Students can download their admit card through jeemain.nta.nic.in by entering their application form and password. There have been several rumours that the dates of JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 might change due to the clash with CBSE 12th Home Science and Psychology exams.

For the JEE Main Session 1 exam 2025 as well, the admit card was released after 3:00 PM. This year, NTA is not releasing the admit card/ results late at night, and most of the announcements are happening during the evening, which is a big respite for students.
