The counselling dates for Maharashtra MCA CAP Round 2 2024 have been announced by DTE Maharashtra. Candidates who participated in round 1 and are eligible for round 2 can avail themselves of this counselling opportunity. The MAH MCA CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment 2023 is out now. Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University admission 2023 has started. MAH MCA CET 2023 final merit list will be released on July 20, 2023. The State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the merit list on its official website at mca2024.mahacet.org.in. Admission to the MCA programme at SRTMU is based on MAH MCA CET 2023. The cell will release the MAH MCA CAP round 1 option on July 21, 2023.
Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University has been the educational abode for learners since 1994. This unique project is an initiative of the Government of Maharashtra. This institution has been eponymously named after the great Indian freedom fighter, social activist, and selfless educator Swami Ramanand Tirtha. For 27 years, the university has been gleefully maintaining its ideals with the rigour of passion and zeal.
Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University is located on Latur Road of Nanded in Maharashtra. As the name suggests, the university covers the whole southern part of the Marathwada region. Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University caters to the educational needs of four districts: Nanded, Latur, Parbhani, and Hingoli. The institute’s main campus is situated 20 kilometres from the Nanded township. Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University main campus is laid across 595 acres. The sub-campus of the university at Peth, Latur, adds 22 acres to the institute’s geographical coverage.

Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University admission process is based on fulfilling the eligibility criteria and selection requirements prescribed by the university authority. Therefore, the students must familiarise themselves with the admission requirements to avoid any complications during the application and admission process.
The Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University admission procedure follows the below guidelines -
- Admissions to the SRTMUN courses will be given strictly on a merit / CET basis.
- Candidates must have studied the subject at the qualifying examination as one of the optional subjects – applicable to most courses.
- A candidate shall be admitted to the first-year course of the master’s degree at SRTMU, Nanded, and its sub-campuses provided that the student satisfies the following conditions. The candidate must have passed the bachelor’s degree examination in the concerned faculty of this university or an examination of the university recognised as equivalent by Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University.
- Aggregate marks obtained in the degree course (the total of the six semesters or the three-year scores) will be considered for preparing the merit list for applicants applying to those courses where marks obtained in the optional subject are not compulsory.
- The merit list shall be prepared based on marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination (for whichever courses it is applicable). In case of a tie, the relative merit of different candidatures shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below: (i) The percentage of marks in the concerned subject at UG (wherever applicable), (ii) The percentage of aggregate marks in the UG level of education, (iii) Percentage of marks at Higher Secondary Certificate Examination, and (iv) proof of Date of Birth.

The SRTMUN sub-campus at Latur is based on learning assessed by the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). The branch is also keen on the policy of the ‘One Teacher One Skill’ program, tethering a greater depth between the skills gained by the students and expertise disseminated by the students.

SRTM University Knowledge Resource Center (KRC) - Central Library:
The Knowledge Resource Centre building, located at the centre of all campus schools, has a rich collection of books, journals, bound volumes, theses, reports, and other reading material. The KRC has automated its services and provides circulation, Web OPAC, reference, referral, SMS, wi-fi connection, etc., services. The entire collection in the KRC is digitised and is available on Shodhganga. The KRC is a member of Shodhsindhu and has access to substantial online e-resources. SRTMUN Sports, Gymnasium Facilities, and Health Centre:
Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, gives due importance to the overall development of students and their recreational needs. For this purpose, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, and kho-kho courts are on the university campus.
A facility of a well-equipped ladies and gents gymnasium is available on campus. A health centre with all primary medical facilities is also available for health care under the supervision of competent staff.
Facility for Differently Abled Persons at the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University:
The differently-abled students avail various software, computers, and other equipment for effective learning. ramps, railing, and lift facilities are also provided on the campus to facilitate them smoothly. In addition, various academic and recreational activities are organised for the students.
Career Counselling and Placement Cell of SRTMUN:
The university has in place a career counselling and placement cell. Various seminars, workshops, and campus interviews are organised by the cell. In addition, the cell has established effective coordination amongst campus schools, industries, and other organisations.
Hostel Accommodation:
Separate hostel facilities for girls and boys are available on the university campus. Admission to the hostel is given on merit to PG students of all campus schools. The quota for each school is decided on a demand and supply basis. There are three boys’ hostels on campus, and one more is under construction. The intake capacity of boys' hostels is 300. There are four hostels on campus, including girls’ hostels and one minority girls' hostel. The intake capacity of the girls' hostel is 344. The capacity of minority girls' hostels is 100, and admission for boys’ and girls’ hostels are given per the rules of the Govt. of Maharashtra. Floating tenders run the mess of the boys’ hostel. The mess of girls hostel is run on a co-operative basis and shall be compulsory for each student hostel accommodator.
RUSA Centre for Herbo-Medicinal Studies:
This centre is especially for isolating active constitutes from the herbs through equipment available in the centre like Preparative HPLC and flash system. The development opportunity under this project is to provide essential equipment facilities which are not only useful for the isolation of active principles from locally available medicinal herbs but also for the technology transfer to researchers of university, affiliated colleges, and other university staff.
The RUSA centre is a hub for isolating actives from herbal plants. In addition, it actively identifies and provides value-added services required to support incubator clients (academic institutions and industries).
The RUSA centre is presently having sophisticated instruments like a fully automated preparative HPLC and Flash system, Microplate reader, Nanodrop UV Vis spectrophotometer, Lyophilizer, Flame Photometer, All-Purpose Equipment (Granulation of Solid Oral), Fluid bed dryer, Electromagnetic Sieve Shaker With accessories, Analytical Balance, Wesner Weighing Balance Rota evaporator, Digital potentiometer, digital pH conductometer, melting point/ boiling point apparatus, muffle furnace, circulating water bath, water purification system HPLC grade water, Clevenger apparatus, hot air oven, Olympus Microscope (Compound), Ultrasonic Bath, spray dryer, etc. These instrumentation facilities may be availed by researchers, students, and other researchers of colleges affiliated with universities, and other university staff on a minimum charge basis.
