Overall: All extracurricular events were excellent, and we always participated in them since I really enjoy the ones that bring in outsiders and locals to work as a team. It always relieves our stress and makes us happy. Most importantly, when we were involved in things, we forgot about our home.
Placement: I'd say the positioning was appropriate. A few firms visited my batch, and several applicants were chosen. Our college welcomed wipro as an on-campus employer, and 51 individuals were chosen. During my batch, there were some off-campus and some pulled-campus events as well. Additionally, the Indian Army came to pick candidates from our college, but unfortunately, none were chosen. As an initial package, Wipro provided 3.25 lakhs per annum. Other smaller businesses, including Bhusan Steel Plant, offered 1.8 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Campus is a verdant green. Each department has its own lab. There were three hostels: one for girls with a diploma in engineering and two for boys with an engineering degree. Food is of decent quality. A playground is available for students.
Faculty: Few of our professors were retired from NIITs and other designated universities, but they were all well competent. The Physics Department in college, and Satya Sir in particular, were my favourites. He was one of the younger professors who was able to keep everyone's attention throughout the lesson. My particular favourite Bhol Sir from the mechanical department taught us life lessons in addition to mechanical training.
Hostel: No, I've always loved staying in hostels; it's my favourite part of life. I'll never forget living in the dorms during college. I thought back on all the times I had spent with my friend. I will never forget our final day of college, when we all had wet eyes and were not happy. Really, I miss all those times from my first year of college, when things like the hostel supervisor becoming upset for bringing a wine bottle, the caretaker getting unhappy, jumping the hostel fence to bring a bottle of wine, the evenings in Kantanali Chawk, and other things happened.
