As per Dr.R.M.L.Awadh University norms every student must secure aggregate 45% marks in at least 8 papers out of 14 papers (7 papers of Ist semester and 7 papers of IInd semester) in a year. However passing marks in a subject is 36%. If a student secures below 36% in any of the seven papers of a semester, the University declares his result as failed but he/she will be promoted to the next semester.
Admission Criteria
As per the rules of the Bar Council of India, the eligibility for LL.B. three years degree course requires minimum of 45% marks for general and OBC candidates and 40 % marks for SC/ST candidates in graduation in any discipline from any recognized University.
Mode of Admission
Each year an entrance test for admission in LL.B. three years degree course is organized by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Faizabad, U.P., followed by counseling for 85% seats allotted to the college.
OR Through CLAT (Common Law Entrance Test)
OR Through management quota on left over 15% seats or vacant seats.
Aspiring candidates can obtain the prospectus cum admission form on payment of cash or demand draft for Rs.250/- (Rs 50/-extra for postal charges) in favor of " T.R.C.Law College" payable at Barabanki from the college campus. Forms can also be downloaded from the college website www.trclc.org and the payment of the form (Rs. 250/-) will be taken at the time of admission. All the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed before admission.
