About Thangavelu Engineering College, Chennai
Thangavelu Engineering College was established in the year 1995 by the TJ Educational Trust and Ponniamman Educational Trust with the aim of providing excellent high-quality technical education. Maintaining the excellence of academic since its establishment, Thangavelu Engineering College is now known as one of the best engineering colleges in Chennai. The college is affiliated by Anna University, approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), is ISO 9001:2008 certified and accredited by NBA. The main aim of Thangavelu Engineering College is to prepare the engineering and technocrats in order to cope up with the increasing demand for technical industries, with the motive to transform the society.
The college is situated in Karapakkam which is 1 kilometre away from Sholinganallur and 10 km away from Tambaram, off the IT Highway in Old Mahabalipuram Road.
Thangavelu College of Engineering offers admission to various UG and PG programmes including Bachelors of Technology in various streams, Masters of Technology in various streams, and Masters of Business Administration.
